Overview of 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Restomod LS3 For Sale by Owner

Chevy’s second generation or C2 Corvette is one of the shortest in the Corvette’s story. It saw just five production years, namely 1963 to 1967. Yet, the C2 is recognized as a defining moment in the Corvette’s journey, bringing features that endured for generations. It marked when the Corvette would forever be a V8-powered machine, and only have V8s under the hood. It brought pop-up headlamps to the party for four decades thereafter. Most alluringly, it created an achingly beautiful shape that modern Corvettes haven’t quite been able to pull off – they’ve all tended towards muscular and angular – or a combination of the two. Today’s 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod LS3 is a fine restomod that’s truly a one-of-a-kind machine. Sitting on a SRIII Motorsports Round Tube Chassis, this ‘Vette enjoys a 480-horsepower GM LS3 V8 with fuel injection, a Tremec 5-speed manual gearbox and so many other neat things. The current owner says that just 800 miles have passed since the build of this car was completed.

Exterior and Interior

This nice 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod LS3 comes in Le Mans Blue and has undergone a soft top delete for the ultimate in topless motoring. Fret not though, there’s a removable hardtop for use when the weather isn’t conducive for convertibles to jaunt about in. The car sits on C4 Corvette forged aluminum suspension with QA1 adjustable coilovers for that perfect stance. It’s got some nice alloy wheels too. The interior of this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod LS3 is a red and black leather affair. It’s been comprehensively upgraded with Speedhut gauges that include a GPS speedometer for the utmost in accuracy. There’s a Vintage Air C2 air conditioning system, as well as an Infinitybox CAN-Bus electrical system. The custom carbon fiber dashboard is by Dashworks, while the custom seats and door panels are the work of Al Knock. You’ve got custom insulated carpeting, Lucas-style toggle switches, a Wetsounds Bluetooth-capable stereo, an Alpine amplifier with speakers and a subwoofer, and even a drop-down frame mounted battery box. There’s also a rear battery cutoff switch for safety.

Engine

The 480hp LS3 that moves this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod LS3 is fuel injected. Coming from Turnkey Engines, its been fitted with a Dewitts C2 Corvette LS Swap radiator that includes dual electric cooling fans that are ECU controlled. There’s also a stainless steel quiet side-exit exhaust system. Drive goes to the rear wheels through a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and a Dana 44 rear differential with 3.36 rear axle ratio. You’ve also got Corvette C5 front disc brakes, Corvette C4 rear disc brakes and Hydroboost power brake assist.

1972 Porsche 911 T

VERIFIED SELLER
$89,999

The 1972 Porsche 911 T Coupe represents one of the most unique and collectible variants of the long-hood 911 lineage. As part of Porsche’s F-Series generation, the 911 T combined lightweight driving dynamics with the company’s proven air-cooled flat-six formula. The 1972 model year is especially significant because it was the only year Porsche fitted the now-famous external oil filler door, known by enthusiasts as the “Ölklappe.” Designed to improve weight distribution by relocating the oil tank ahead of the rear axle, this feature has become one of the most recognizable identifiers of a genuine 1972 911. This example is finished in attractive Albert Blue over a tan interior and shows approximately 76,346 miles.
