This claim is said to have come from none other than Enzo Ferrari, although it remains to be substantiated. Either way, there’s no denying the impact that the E-Type would have on the motoring world. Whether that was true or not (spoiler alert, it was initially not, then it came to be), the E-Type remains one of the most desirable classic cars in the world to this day.
