In 2022, the Original Alfa Romeo Giulia saloon celebrated the 60th anniversary of its introduction, one of the Milanese marque's most significant commercial successes at the time and possibly its most popular model among collectors today. Work on the Giulia started in the late 1950s, a period of rapid economic expansion in Italy during which Alfa's Giulietta had become a coveted symbol of newfound economic prosperity. With a seemingly insatiable demand for cars and rapidly improving living standards, the Guilia was designed to go beyond the Giulietta in every respect. After fifteen years of service, some of which have arguably been the company's best, the Alfa Romeo Giulia was replaced on the market, but arguably not in our hearts. We are excited to present this 1971 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Super. Its current owner reports that all paperwork, documentation, and customs are up to date.
The Guilia Super is essentially a road version of the racing TI Super, meaning you can notice subtle aerodynamic characteristics on the exterior. Our subject 1971 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Super is in a stunning white and was reportedly repainted by the previous owner. It rides on a set of period-correct tires with Alfa Romeo center caps and Kapsen tires. The attention to detail is immaculate as you can also notice the tire valve caps display the Alfa Romeo logo. The four-leaf clover is displayed on the front fenders while the Alfa Romeo Giulia Super monikers can be seen on the rear. As you open the doors to this 1971 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Super you are immediately transported back to the ‘70s. The three-spoke wooden steering wheel has the Alfa Romeo logo in the middle. An aftermarket Bluetooth receiver can be found in between the seats.
We are told that this 1971 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Super retains its original motor and transmission. This 1600cc H4 engine is able to deliver around 100 horsepower. It recently underwent a tune-up and servicing, and the transmission bearing was replaced. For increased ride quality, the car also has replaced suspension bushings that were done in 2022.

In 2015, Alfa Romeo revived a historic nameplate; Giulia. They placed it on a superb compact executive car that they’d designed and engineered, and offered a supremely swift Quadrifoglio variant at the top of the hierarchy. With a 2.9-liter twin-turbo engine adapted from a Ferrari design, the Quadrifoglio can give you a soulful Italian family car with 500 horses under the hood if you so please. Granted, it takes a brave person to choose an Alfa Romeo over the myriad German alternatives, but once you make such a choice, you’ll be grinning from ear to ear on every drive. So why not buy this 8,910-mile 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and start smiling? It’s currently in Paintsville, Kentucky, and waiting to show you a good time, every time.
