Overview of 1972 Chevrolet Nova Restomod For Sale by Owner

One of Chevy’s most popular compacts of the Sixties and Seventies, cars like this 1972 Chevrolet Nova Restomod ruled the roost of sporty small cars. They were available in frugal six-cylinder form, or with small-block V8s under the hood. Today’s car, however, is a build like no other. It rocks a mammoth 454ci V8 under the hood, driving the rear wheels through a TH-350 automatic gearbox. A 2.5-inch aftermarket exhaust ensures that everyone hears the rumble of the big V8 as you streak by in a flash of burnt orange, riding upon REV 109 classic Magnum 15-inch wheels. You’ll even get dual four-point harnesses which are currently not installed, in case you want to take this Nova to a track or strip.

Exterior and Interior

Dressed in Burnt Orange, this 1972 Chevrolet Nova Restomod comes with those lovely 15-inch REV 109 Classic Magnum wheels, a cowl induction hood from which the Edelbrock 14-inch air cleaner breathes, chrome tips for the Flowmaster mufflers, rear shackles, Digi-Tails LED lights and a sleek two-door coupe body style. The current owner discloses that the windshield wipers are currently nonfunctional but that’s an easy fix. The interior of this 1972 Chevrolet Nova Restomod has an aftermarket stereo with 4-channel amplifier, a 4-point racing harness for the driver’s side seat, Intellitronix digital gauges, air conditioning, a sporty aftermarket steering wheel and a Hurst V-Matic 3 floor shifter. The leather-upholstered rear bench seat remains, in case you need to use this car for family transport duties from time to time. Your kids will definitely love going in it!

Engine

The 454ci V8 that lies beneath the hood of this 1972 Chevrolet Nova Restomod is a real, old-school, analog beast. It’s fed via an Edelbrock 750cfm 4-barrel carburetor and 14-inch open air cleaner plus aluminum intake manifold. You’ve got long tube headers, a 2.5-inch exhaust system, Remflex exhaust header gaskets and Flowmaster mufflers. The car also has dual 1356cfm electric cooling fans and a 4-core high-performance aluminum radiator. Power goes to the rear wheels through a TH-350 3-speed automatic transmission. You’ll also find Bilstein B8 5100 rear shocks, a Tuff Stuff performance master cylinder and brake booster, four AC Delco Gold brake drums, power steering, an MSD ignition kit with blaster coil and controller, a Bandit chrome electric vacuum pump, and so much more.
