The Chevy El Camino showed the world in 1959 that a pickup truck didn’t have to be a body-on-frame machine with stodgy styling and uncomfortable riding dynamics. Instead, Chevy created a segment called the Coupe Utility, which was basically a seamless integration of cab, chassis and cargo area into one element. This led to a sportier, lower-riding and more comfortable vehicle that could still carry a decent payload in its cargo bed. That’s what we have here, a 1950 Ford F-1 Restomod from Groveport, Ohio.
