When you think of the purest forms of motoring it's hard not to think of Grand Tourers. Back in the Seventies, British manufacturer Jaguar released the XJS, a grand tourer that took the world by storm and eventually became Jaguar's longest-running model due to its popularity. The XJS was truly a British legend and this 1986 Jaguar XJS is your chance to own one. Located in Florida this Jaguar is the perfect mix of luxury and performance thanks to a surprise that lies under the hood of this car. The car has reportedly been acquired from a private collection with the sale including build receipts and the owner’s manual as well.

The XJS will always go down as a true Grand Tourer thanks to its long and beautiful body lines and design cues. Don't believe us? Take a look at this 1986 Jaguar XJS. Sporting a custom Marina Blue paint job is one way to stand out, the exterior color doesn't just stand out but is lovely to see amongst the darker and flashier color tones available from the factory. It also has a subtle pin string that runs alongside the car. The vehicle sits on the original Jaguar chrome wheels which gives the car a factory fresh look. A luxurious and comfortable interior is no stranger in a luxury grand tourer made by Jaguar. This 1986 Jaguar XJS sports a grey interior which matches the custom color on the car really well. The interior is also custom but like the exterior done to perfection and not over the top. You still get all the original components in place with an Alpine stereo with subwoofers providing good tunes on those chilled drives. Speaking of chilled, this car also has air conditioning as well to top off its luxurious feel.

Whilst its drop-dead grand tour looks, and luxurious interior is nice what’s under the hood of this 1986 Jaguar XJ S is its real party piece. The heart of this British legend is now a Chevrolet 502ci V8 crate engine which guarantees a whole lot of performance as well as a smooth ride if need be. It's reported that the engine has run only 5,000 miles since installation. The crate engine pushes out an impressive 461hp to the rear wheels through a 4-speed turbo hydramatic (TH700R4) automatic transmission. The increase in power calls for better handling and this car's handling is made better thanks to a custom complete suspension installed by Gemini racing. Amongst the luxurious interior, you also get power steering and power windows to ensure an effortless drive.

Arguably Jaguar’s most prolific model, the XJ full-size luxury sedan was made between 1968 and 2019. It’s known as the last model to be personally designed under Sir William Lyons, the founder of Jaguar Cars, and for much of its existence, the XJ stayed true to its core design language. All this changed in 2010, when the X351 generation came to be. Out went the admittedly dated design language and old-school driving dynamics in favor of a total rehash. The looks were sharp and fresh, the driving experience was top-notch and the car’s luxury features took several leaps too. Today, we have one of those fine machines, a 2015 Jaguar XJ Portfolio from Hagerstown, Maryland. With its supercharged V6, Meridian sound system and attractive aftermarket wheels, this 105,974-mile Jaaaag is ideal for you to adopt as your new daily driver.

British luxury automaker Jaguar’s top-tier offering in the sedan space was their iconic XJ model. Made from 1968 to 2019, the XJ maintained a rather similar design ethos for much of its life. This meant that even models from the Nineties, although thoroughly modernized, didn’t look too far removed from their forefathers. All this changed in 2010, with the X351 generation. This era saw everything about the XJ given a full rebirth, from the styling to the mechanicals and everything else too. Suddenly, the XJ had shed its “old person” looks and started attracting new demographics as well. So, if you’re shopping for a pre-owned luxury car, this 2012 Jaguar XJ from Texas is a great choice. With its sumptuous interior, snarling V8 and just under 14,000 miles done, it’s a veritable bargain. The current owner says that the owner’s manual and two keys are included with the sale.

For those seeking a European luxury car, the default options from Mercedes-Benz and BMW spring to mind. Audi and Volvo are there too. But what if you want something British? Well, that’s where the Jaguar XJ comes into the fray. The XJ model came about in 1968, and was the last Jag to have been designed by the company’s founder, Sir William Lyons. For decades, the XJ was known to retain old-school charm and styling cues, until a totally new design debuted in 2010. Called the X351 generation, this was a remarkable departure from the template and really raised eyebrows. Soon enough, people realized that the X351 was a fine car that totally improved in nearly every way over its predecessor, and really took the luxury car fight to the Germans. Today, we’ve got a 2017 Jaguar XJR for sale from Cincinnati, Ohio, with a scant 13,689 miles to its name. Oh, and supercharged machine has recently received a service.

The Jaguar XK of the Nineties and Two Thousands is an often overlooked grand tourer. Available with punchy V8 power, the first or XK100 generation was made between 1996 and 2006. It brought cool British styling and sports car DNA to a modernized platform and sleek looks that aged gracefully. Today, you can avail yourself of all that with this 2006 Jaguar XKR from Queen Creek, Arizona. It’s got two keys, up-to-date servicing and a fetching set of BBS Montreal wheels. But most importantly, as the XKR variant, it packs a 400-horsepower supercharged V8 under the hood. Now who’d pass that up?

A mainstay of British Grand Tourers between 1975 and 1996, the Jaguar XJS is an interestingly-styled vehicle that was offered with frugal straight six or all-out twelve-cylinder powerplant choices. It became a symbol of the Seventies and Eighties, and has prominently featured on the silver screen too. Now, an XJS represents a sound and sensible way to own a classic Jaguar, especially a later-model drop-top example like this 1994 Jaguar XJS Convertible from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The car has got 78,110 miles on the clock and since it’s a later-model variant, features quite a few creature comforts and refinements absent from the very early models.

Jaguar Cars of Britain is well known for making some fine sporting machines during its long history. Before we had examples such as the breathtaking E-Type, or XK-E in North America, machines like the XK120, XK140 and XK150 ruled the roost. These were fine sports cars meant to embody the spirit of driving, and targeted at those who desired the best blend of luxury and driving pleasure. Between 1954 and 1957, it was the turn of the XK140 which brought more interior space as well as upgraded mechanicals over the XK120 which it replaced. A total of 8,937 cars was made during this time, with just 1,959 fixed-head coupes produced in left-hand drive. That makes this 1956 Jaguar XK140 one of 1,959 units, a statistic that places it in greater rarity than some supercars! If you’d like to be its next custodian, this 3.4-liter machine awaits your kind consideration in New Albany, Ohio.
