Overview of 1993 Honda Civic Del Sol Si Turbo For Sale by Owner

Now here’s a classic JDM cult hero that’s pretty hard to find these days. This pint-sized 1993 Honda del Sol Si can give you a real thrill, thanks to its heavily upgraded turbocharged powerplant. The del Sol was introduced in 1992 and sold until 1998, as a small sport compact. It’s just 158 inches long and 67 inches wide, after all. This particular car has been significantly customized, making it a definite one-off for those who not only want a del Sol, but prefer one with added bark and bite. We’re told that there’s a custom body kit, the engine has been turbocharged, and a manual transmission awaits keen drivers. If you’re itching to buy this car, it’s up for grabs in Milwaukee.

Exterior and Interior

Wearing a very bright coat of red paint, this 1993 Honda del Sol Si is a looker! Even in stock form, the car would be quite a head-turner, but this car’s custom body kit takes things to the next level. Thanks to the aftermarket bumpers and side skirts, it seems to sit lower to the ground, while its shiny silver alloy wheels make for a stunning effect when the car is in motion. You’ve also got some stickers on the windshield and bumper, which can be removed if they aren’t to your preference. Ditto the turbo badge on the rear. But one thing that will definitely be enjoyed is the car’s removable targa top. The red and black interior of this 1993 Honda del Sol Si has also received some custom work. The dashboard is upholstered in a custom red theme, while the seats have a two-tone effect to them. The car has power windows, air conditioning and a Sony head unit for music. It’s also got an aftermarket tachometer with shift light. Pop the trunk and you’ll find dual subwoofers plus a screen back there.

Engine

The four-cylinder engine of this 1993 Honda del Sol Si will have been naturally aspirated when the car was new. Now, it’s been given a turbocharger and front mount intercooler set-up for notably more power and torque. Power still goes to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. Meanwhile, a big brake kit has been installed to help manage the extra power.
