When BMW released the E36-generation 3-Series, it was well-received among fans all around the world. And while the M3 will remain one of the most respected performance cars to come out of Bavaria, its Alpina cousin edges it out in terms of niche-cool. Here we have a 1995 BMW Alpina B3 3.0 Cabriolet — one of just 199 of its kind, and according to its current owner, it is the #99 car built. This Alpina is said to have been imported to the country recently and comes with full documentation, including all papers, receipts, and maintenance records with the sale. This rare example is currently located in New York and has covered some 111,800 miles so far.
Alpina only turned 199 droptop E36s into B3 3.0 Cabriolets with the special edition emblem inside each car. Among them, this blue-coated example is the 99th car to roll out Alpina’s’ doors. While the black soft-top of this 1995 Alpina B3 3.0 Cabriolet comes in handy when you want to feel the breeze, the hard top is also available with the sale for good measure. It enjoys Alpina bumpers, badging, an upgraded exhaust, and wheels. The car reportedly got four new tires, balancing, and alignment work done when it was imported. Inside this 1995 Alpina B3 3.0 Cabriolet, you are greeted with Alpina leather sports seats in the front and rear. Colored stitching adorns the black interior, and the Alpina-styled shift knob and steering wheel remind you that you’re sitting in a special car. Pay close attention, and you’ll notice the blue gauges which are also an Alpina feature.
Alpina doesn’t always tune cars with high output numbers in mind. Instead, they aim for the sweet spot to make the most of a car’s power. Likewise, this 1995 Alpina B3 3.0 Cabriolet boasts a 3.0-liter 6-Cylinder Alpina-fettled engine under its hood, which is married to a 5-speed manual transmission. It hammered out 250 hp from the factory and 236 lb-ft of torque. This means you can get to 60 mph in just 6.5 seconds before hitting its top speed of 157 mph: both respectable times in its day.

Once in a proverbial blue moon, an automaker will showcase a jaw-dropping concept car and then…make a production car that’s very close in appearance and engineering. These gems of the automotive world are few and far between. One of those examples from the past fifteen or so years is the BMW i8. It started life as the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept in 2009. Two years later, BMW showcased a second concept called the i8 Concept, which was mildly changed. Then, in 2013, a prototype was revealed, and the actual thing was going into production by April 2014. With its space-era looks, hybrid powertrain and 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds, the BMW i8 was truly something like no other. Since production ended in 2020, it’s doubtless destined to be one of those cars that gains and maintains a cult following as time goes by. Just 6,776 were made in total, and we’ve got one of them today. Here’s a 2017 BMW i8 from Paradise Valley, Arizona for sale, with just under 10,000 miles done so far.
The Alpina B8 is perhaps the pinnacle of this niche vehicle manufacturer's range. Luxury in everything your hand can touch, and a pair of Weber carbs and a crank on their logo, reflecting the company's roots as a tuner. The first proper Alpina was not the old Fiats and Beetles that founder Burkard Bovensiepen tinkered with in his youth, but the A1 based on the BMW E21. Inevitably, they turned further away from being an outright race manufacturer towards focusing on their bespoke luxury models. Today, we have incredible examples like this 2023 BMW B8 Alpina Gran Coupe as a result. With as little as 9,494 miles on its clock, this beauty is available for sale in Cottleville, Missouri.
As many of you have probably noticed, a BMW enthusiast will go haywire if you bring up the M models. There is a good reason for this, as they represent the pinnacle of the German brands' performance and engineering prowess. There are over ten M models offered by BMW so far, and you can choose from coupes, convertibles, touring, grand coupes, and SUV body designs. The M3 models have been produced for every generation of the 3 Series since 1986. What we are subjecting here is the E90/E92/E93 generation, which extended through 2007–2013. This stunning 2013 BMW M3 Convertible is an E93 model, which is treated with a few tasty aftermarket modifications. With only 35,491 miles on its clock, this M3 is available for sale in Calabasas, California.
Chevy’s Corvette is a car that many aspire to own and drive at some point in their life. Few cars in the world, let alone America, have reached such legendary status. Few cars in the world continue for over seventy years after their introduction. The Corvette is thus one of a handful of all-time automotive greats. Made across eight generations, it’s weathered tough times and emerged victorious. Even during the dreaded Malaise Era, the Corvette was the fastest American car available at the time. Today’s 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible comes from far happier times, specifically the C6 or sixth generation of 2005-2013. The C6 saw a shift towards tauter styling, improved handling and of course, more power. Today’s 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is thus a fine example of a C6 as it bears only under 23,000 miles on its odometer. Coming with the Memory Package, Preferred Equipment Group and so much more, this Wisconsin-based Vette could be yours for the taking – if you act with speed.
The Porsche 911 came into the world by 1964, and ever since then, it’s been widely acknowledged as one of the most important sports cars of all time. Its rear-engined layout, defining teardrop shape and 2+2 seating configuration all make for something truly special that appeals to petrolheads from every country in the world. For the first 34 years of the 911’s life, the engine used air cooling, but in 1998, a notable change took place with the introduction of the 996 generation of the 911. The engine gained water cooling in response to demands for more power, as well as ever-tightening emissions regulations in key markets. Today, we’ve got a 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet for sale with a few upgrades that make it even nicer to own and drive. Bearing 98,535 miles on its odometer, this beauty is up for sale in Wichita, Kansas.
