Few vehicles out there are made for warfare but can also be driven on the streets, and the AM General Humvee is perhaps the most iconic of them all. Built in 1983, the Humvee was created by American Motors for the U.S. military before it eventually found itself on the street after a little bit of influence from the literal terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger. This 2002 AM General Humvee has been refreshed and is currently for sale.
Exterior and Interior
To put it simply, the 2002 AM General Humvee is a tank with four wheels built to withstand bullets, climb mountains, and create trails wherever a trail was needed. With a ground clearance nearly double that of most other SUVs, waterproof electronics that allow the Humvee to be driven through almost three feet of water, and a width that would take up an entirely two-way street, the Humvee is built to impose, and do so with authority. This specific example wears a matte green exterior paint and comes in a slant back body shape. The interior of this 2002 AM General Humvee is reported to be completely original. Sure, some may say that this makes for an uncomfortable ride, but if comfort is what you seek from a vehicle that can pretty much do everything else, you've completely missed the point. Who needs comfort when the world is yours to conquer? However, there are a couple of features, including a step-down for 12-volt accessories like a USB port or lighter.

Driving this 2002 AM General Humvee is a 6.5L Detroit Diesel V8 engine that is capable of producing up to 190hp and 380lb. ft of torque via an automatic gearbox. Although a top speed of around 70mph might be a bit slower, the AM General Humvee makes up for it by having the ability to do a 60 percent incline climb.
