While the Bavarian automakers reputation precedes it, the M moniker is altogether on another level of BMW craftsmanship. One of BMWs best-selling cars is the BMW M-Series, an executive car which was introduced in 1972, and as of 2021 is in its seventh-generation. The M moniker was first applied to the hugely successful BMW 3.0 CSL, the division was created to facilitate BMW’s racing program. In our inventory is the fourth-generation of the five series that’s been fettled by the M Division, a 2003 BMW M5 Manual – more commonly known as the BMW E39, with just 58,200 miles on the clock and available to be seen in Massachusetts.

The M version of the 2003 BMW 5-Series was available in a slew of unique colors, of which this 2003 BMW M5 Manual is bedecked in a Carbon Black metallic paint. The exterior features a set of OEM multi-spoke BMW branded wheels in silvery grey. Chrome trim is added to the trunk and the sides of the body. Automatic headlights with “Angel Eyes” design are in place, with LED taillights. This 2003 M5 comes equipped with the Cold Weather Package. The head unit has been upgraded with a touchscreen system along with a navigation and DVD player and front and rear Alpine speakers. The original head unit, speakers and other components are included in the sale. The interior is dominated by a black/Silverstone finish, with the M-sport branded 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel taking pride of place. The front seats are heated, with the driver’s seat having electric seat adjustment with a memory setting.

The 2003 BMW M5 came powered with the first V8 to be used in a M-Series car, a 4.9L V8 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, altogether enabling the car to push out 394 hp of power along with 369 lb.ft of torque. The official top-speed for the 0-60mph is at 4.8 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph while the unrestricted M5 was able to reach in excess of 186 mph. to compensate for the power, suspension is a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension. As of recently, the marketplace for classic BMWs has been all the rage, and there is a reason for that. Step into any older BMW and you instantly are exposed to a driving experience that's unparalleled and geared to set your driving expectations up a level. With original examples becoming a massive rarity thanks to a massive aftermarket scene giving one access to a host of engine swaps, the 1988 BMW M5 sure makes for a unicorn against the backdrop of German tuner machines. With only reported over 26,000 miles on its clock, one might argue that it simply isn't possible. However, worry not, as the current owner reports that this is a one-owner, original mileage example ready for its new custodian to cruise around in style and enjoy German performance.

There comes a time when a manufacturer creates perfection and then finds it hard to get back to that sort of perfection with their later models. Turn back the clock to the early 2000s and this was exactly the case with BMW and their legendary M5. Built to suit a legendary marque, the BMW E60 M5 carried on the torch from the iconic E39 and provided the world with performance thats not only blistering but practical. Present today is this 2006 BMW M5. With a reported 63,206 miles on its clock, this legendary BMW performance machine is built to bring you smiles per gallon, better yet, there is space for family and friends to join you for the ride.

BMW’s range has grown quite a bit over the past decade or so. You’ve got their electric ‘i’ range of course, then there’s the X range of SUVs, and of course the well-known number series of cars. Even here, gaps have been filled – for example the best-known 3,5 and 7 have now been joined by 1,2,4,6 and 8. Today, we have a 2026 BMW M4, which as you can possibly guess, is from the 4-Series. The 4-Series sits just above the 3-Series, as a spin-off from its coupe and convertible variants. But wait, BMW also made a 4-Series Gran Coupe, which is a four-door. Confusing much? Don’t worry because, as the name tells us, this M4 from Valparaiso, Florida, is the hottest 4-Series you can buy, and it’s a sleek two-door coupe. With a highly sought after premium exterior color and a superbly potent twin turbo six under the hood, it’s the perfect family car for an enthusiast, replete with only 1,300 miles to its name.

This 2015 BMW i8 stands out as a coveted early-production example equipped with the top-tier Pure Impulse World package, making it one of the most premium configurations available. Finished in Crystal White Pearl Metallic w/ Frozen Blue Accents, it carries the most iconic i8 look while pairing it with the Pure Impulse Carum Spice Full Perforated Leather interior—BMW’s highest interior specification for the model year. The combination of hybrid performance, exotic butterfly-door styling, and a $150K original MSRP positions this i8 as a futuristic grand-touring sports car with a luxury-focused package rarely seen on standard trims.

Forged from the desire to really make the Ultimate Driving Machine, the BMW M3 first appeared on BMW’s E30 generation of 3-Series, way back in 1986. Since then, every 3-Series, right up to the current G80 generation has had a corresponding M3. Throughout its life so far, the M3 has had four, six and eight-cylinder power. It’s enjoyed natural aspiration and forced induction. It’s been made in coupe, convertible, sedan and station wagon forms. But one thing has always remained true, its amazing enthusiast-pleasing driving manners. You see, the M3 isn’t about outright speed and power. It's never been about that. Instead, its about providing a package that’s engaging to drive and practical to live with. This G80-era 2023 BMW M3 Competition xDrive Sedan is living proof of that ethos. It’s a four-door sedan with all-wheel drive, the Executive Package, Carbon Fiber Trim Package and even a Matte Black PPF! And yet, it’s supremely amazing to drive while being able to carry your family on their regular errands. If you’re interested, this 21,380-mile car is currently available in Lima, Ohio.
