Overview of 2006 Dodge Charger For Sale by Owner

The Charger from Dodge has always been an interesting model since its introduction in 1996. Across its seven generations of production, which incidentally is still being produced to date, the Dodge Charger has been a subcompact hatchback, full-size sedan, personal luxury coupe, and of course a one-hella muscle car. Its current iteration is a four-door sedan with the spirit of a muscle car. The sixth generation Dodge Charger was produced from 2006 to 2010 after the model's 20-year hiatus. Up for grabs is #604 of 4000 Top Banana 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T's made, with just 43,000 miles on the odometer.

Exterior and Interior

Of the 11 color options that Dodge offered the 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T, the most outlandishly named Top Banana yellow exterior paint is what this Charger is clothed in. Along with the paint job, the car comes with a black-painted rear spoiler. The front features quad headlights flanking the black painted and quartered grille, which also has the R/T badge in red and chrome. The front fascia includes a seamless front bumper with integrated fog lights, an air dam, and a front splitter. Chrome 'Hemi' badges are on the side front quarter panels. The rear features a clean design with the Dodge RAM head logo on the trunk lid and the Charger and R/T badges on the left and right respectively. It sits on a set of 5-spoke Dodge OEM wheels. The interior features a yellow-on-black theme. Yellow trimmings are visible on the center console and around the gear selector. The multifunctional leather-wrapped 4-spoke black and silver Dodge RAM emblazoned steering wheel takes pride of place. Behind the steering wheel can be seen the silver beveled instrument clusters with white faces.

Engine

The Charger has always been a car with impressive performance; as such this 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T comes equipped with the naturally aspirated 5.7L Hemi V8 engine coupled to a 5-speed automatic transmission. This rear wheel-driven car has a power output in excess of 350hp along with 390 lb.ft of torque. It features four-wheel, all-around power disc brakes with ABS. The current owner reports that a new battery has been installed.
