Overview of 2008 Audi R8 For Sale by Owner

The German luxury automobile manufacturer Audi bears the four rings logo with pride. The rings signify the four companies that came together to produce Audi. Their origins date back to the 20th century and are considered as one of the best-selling luxury automobiles in the world. Under the Volkswagen Group, Audi experienced many changes that propelled the brand to newer heights, through which they were able to the mid-engined 2-seater sports car the Audi R8. Produced in 2006, the Audi R8 is currently on its second generation. Up for grabs is a 2008 Audi R8 with just 36,000 miles on the clock.

Exterior and Interior

Jet Blue Metallic is what coats this easy-to-drive and enjoyable supercar from Audi. The Audi R8’s front fascia features an all-LED headlight, which made the Audi R8 the first car to completely do the headlights with LED. A blacked-out grille with a small Quattro logo is visible. The two side massive side blades in Carbon Sigma provide cooling for the engine and brakes as well. The rea is host to the Audi logo in the middle and the R8 logo on the left. This 2008 Audi R8 sits on a set of staggered dual 5-spoke wheels in black with the Audi rings on the hubcaps, behind the wheels black painted and R8 emblazoned brake calipers and visible. The car also features an LED-lit glass engine cover. On entry, you are greeted with chrome-colored and R8 emblazoned door sills. Limestone grey leather is the aesthetic of the interior. The multi-functional sports steering wheel is also wrapped in leather and has a silver-painted Audi logo in the center. It comes with a navigation system, and parking assist features.

Engine

This 2008 Audi R8 does not just look good, it comes with an excellent engine and drive system. It is powered by a 4.2L all-aluminum FSI V8 which generates 414hp of power and 317 lb.ft of torque, while coupled to a gated 6-speed Graziano manual transmission which sends the power to all four wheels via Audi’s patented Quattro system. The R8 comes with a hill-hold assist by Audi as well. The seller reports that the struts have been upgraded to a set of Bilstein set for extra comfort. They also report that the car was purchased with an aftermarket exhaust system already installed.
