The Chevrolet Camaro has been officially phased out for the 2024 model year. But it’s not the first time the model has had a hiatus. When the fourth-generation F-Body Camaro was phased out there was no clear replacement offered immediately. That is, until the fifth-generation Camaro was introduced in 2020. With revised styling and improved engineering — and with a little help thanks to a starring role in Micheal Bay’s Transformers reboot — the fifth-gen Camaro is a guaranteed future classic. The ZL1 trim is arguably one of the most desirable forms of the fifth-gen Camaro. This high-performance version of the Camaro SS features a host of new parts focused on honing the car’s abilities. This 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is up for sale with 33,600 miles on the clock.
Exterior and Interior
This 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is finished in white, with all the styling cues that make the fifth-gen Camaro desirable. You get the subtle graphics on the hood and the grille, as well as a badge on the trunk lid. Meanwhile, this muscle car sits on staggered-width 20-inch wheels in contrasting black. Inside, you’ll find a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and seating for four in a 2+2 configuration. The owner reports that both the driver’s and passenger’s seats are electrically operated, as well as the car featuring power steering and power brakes. Underneath the infotainment screen, you’ll find a bank of gauges that convey the status of vitals, including charging status, supercharger boost, oil temperature, and oil pressure. Speakers from Boston Premium Audio are also pictured.
Engine
Arguably the star of the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is what’s found under the hood: a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, known as the LSA motor. As standard in the ZL1 configuration, this engine was quoted as being able to produce 580 hp and 556 lb-ft of torque. Differentiating the Z1L are a number of features that ensure the Camaro will perform under the added stress of track driving. These upgrades include coolers for the engine, transmission, and differential. Aside from the engine upgrades, the Camaro ZL1 also features brakes from renowned Italian manufacturer Brembo. The upgrade consists of six-piston brakes for the front and four-piston brakes for the rear. This Camaro features an automatic transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels.
While many first-generation Camaros rely on simple engine swaps and cosmetic upgrades, this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Restomod was built with a far more comprehensive vision. Beyond its GM Performance LS3 powerplant and Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, this Camaro benefits from an extensive Chris Alston Chassisworks transformation that modernizes nearly every aspect of the driving experience. Finished in Imperial Blue Metallic with gray stripes and complemented by a custom blue and gray interior, it combines the unmistakable style of Chevrolet’s most desirable Camaro generation with the handling, braking, comfort, and reliability expected from a contemporary performance car. With its true mileage unknown, this Camaro stands apart as a professionally engineered restomod rather than simply a restored classic, offering a level of refinement rarely found among vintage muscle car convertibles.
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod is a no-compromise street machine that blends first-generation Camaro styling with modernized high-performance hardware. Showing just 579 miles since completion, this Candyapple Red Camaro has been extensively built around a potent Chevrolet ZZ502 crate engine and a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, delivering the kind of big-block performance that made Camaros legends while benefiting from upgraded driveline, suspension, and fuel system components. Highlights include dual Holley carburetors, a Moser Truetrac-equipped 12-bolt rear end with 3.90 gearing, House of Kolor custom paint, Simpson racing seats and harnesses, and numerous premium aftermarket components throughout. For enthusiasts seeking a show-quality Camaro with serious street and strip credentials, this restomod offers an exciting blend of classic muscle and modern reliability.
Packing supercar-level power beneath its aggressive sheet metal, this 2019 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible has been transformed into an absolute street and strip monster while retaining the visceral driving experience of a six-speed manual transmission. Showing approximately 52,192 miles, this ZL1 benefits from an extensive performance build completed by Indiana Muscle Car and features a dyno-proven 1,025 horsepower output on E85 fuel. Combining open-air motoring with four-digit horsepower, it delivers an experience few modern performance cars can match. Extensive upgrades to the engine internals, valvetrain, fuel system, supercharger, and drivetrain make this Camaro far more than a typical bolt-on build, creating a highly capable machine for enthusiasts seeking extreme performance and exclusivity.
Few Corvettes command attention quite like a mid-year C2 Sting Ray, and this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible presents an especially intriguing blend of factory styling and high-performance upgrades. Showing approximately 39,045 miles, this iconic American sports car is finished in timeless Tuxedo Black over a Saddle vinyl interior, creating one of the most desirable color combinations available during the era. While originally produced during the golden age of big-block Corvettes, the current owner reports that the car now houses a legendary L88-spec 427ci V8 engine, elevating its performance pedigree even further. Additional highlights include a body-colored removable hardtop, factory teak wood steering wheel, Mako-inspired six-tail-light conversion, and included accessories such as a car cover, roof stand, original hardtop, and original convertible top.
By 1992, Chevrolet had transformed the C4 Corvette into a thoroughly modern American sports car, and the introduction of the LT1 V8 marked one of the most significant upgrades in the model’s history. This Bright Red example is particularly special because it has traveled just 8,456 miles from new, placing it among the lowest-mileage C4 Corvettes on the market today. Finished in a striking red-on-red color combination and equipped with the desirable LT1 powertrain, removable roof panel, and iconic sawblade wheels, this Corvette presents an opportunity to own a remarkably preserved example of Chevrolet’s flagship performance car from the early 1990s.
