McLaren Automotive, formerly known as McLaren Cars, is a British supercar manufacturer. McLaren was founded by Bruce McLaren who is known to be youngest winner of the US Grand Prix at the age of 22. McLarens first car was a gorgeous looking McLaren M1A; of which 24 were built. What propelled McLaren into the limelight was arguably history’s greatest supercar ever built, McLaren F1 with its distinctive center driver seat. McLaren’s name was so legendary that Mercedes-Benz collaborated with McLaren to produce the amazing Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren in the early 2000s. 2014 saw McLaren introduce the McLaren 650S. Our subject vehicle is 2016 McLaren 650S Spider with just 2700 miles on the clock and available in sunny Florida.

Draped in an exotic Tarocco Orange, this 2016 McLaren 650S Spider exudes elegance and pure performance with its sleek lines and ubiquitous front. It sits on a set of OEM lightweight 5-spoke forged wheels with Pirelli P Zero rubber. Stopping power is courtesy of all-around carbon ceramic brakes with polished calipers with a tire pressure monitoring system. The name of the game is carbon fiber, with the rear bumper, side panels, door blades, splitter, side panels and mirror casings, all made from the sturdy and lightweight material that supercar makers turn to for that ideal blend of strength and lightness. The interior of the 650S is a full leather affair with a carbon fiber interior upgrade, proving that modern supercars can be comfortably and even luxurious. The dashboard has a contrast stitch in orange. Providing ultimate comfort regardless of if you are cruising or hustling are electric and heated memory seats, with a McLaren branded floor mat set. Soft close doors and parking sensors on the front and rear finish off this 650S. Oh, lest we forget, press a button and the electrically retractable roof of this Spider will open, granting you open-topped motoring nirvana.

The 2016 McLaren 650S Spider is powered by a 3.8L twin turbocharged V8. Mated to a 7-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission, It is able to produce 641 hp of power and 500 lb.ft of torque. Top speed is rated at 207 mph with a 0-62 mph time of just 3.0 seconds. A unique feature on the McLaren 650S is the Brake Steer, where the rear brakes are applied by the system to inconspicuously manage traction, minimize mid-corner understeer, and control oversteer when attacking a corner at speed.

McLaren has had a long and successful history in motorsport, which translated into world-class supercars such as the F1, and the McLaren-Mercedes SLR. However, those were limited-run specials. It wasn’t until fairly recently that the road-car division was born, but with so much success from their previous endeavors to build upon, it wasn't long before the supercar space had a new frontrunner. This featured McLaren 650S Spider represented a major step forward for the British marque, bridging the gap between the MP4-12C and the later Super Series models. Combining cutting-edge carbon-fiber construction with supercar performance, it offered both extreme capability and the thrill of open-air driving.

When McLaren entered the road-car business, it came from a position of strength. From its supercar-defining F1, to multiple championship successes in Formula 1 and sports car racing, the company based in Woking, UK, had history on its side. But just because it had track record, it didn’t guarantee success. Thankfully, thanks to cars like our featured 650S, success came, and the roadcar division of McLaren is well and truly thriving. The 650S landed as an evolution of the 12C and a precursor to the later 720S. This example, offered from Goleta, California, is finished in silver over a Carbon Black Alcantara and leather interior, showing 28,057 miles. With extensive carbon fiber options, the Enhanced Technology Pack, Sport Exhaust, and thoughtful upgrades like paint protection film, it presents as a well-kept and enthusiast-specified Spider.

McLaren, the British pioneering supercar company, has produced several works of art from the supercar elites we enjoy today. As 2014 dawned, they were just getting started with the McLaren 650S, and shortly after, the Spyder variant was announced. Built on the same platform as the MP4-12C, it has increased power, modernized looks, and breathtaking performance. Certainly deserving of a spot in our portfolio as an exotic vehicle is this 2015 McLaren 650S Spyder. With only 8,400 miles on its clock, this is a sparsely driven car with many more pops and bangs remaining for you to savor. Enjoy miles of smiles with this McLaren that gives you the best of both worlds: the open-top driving experience of a convertible and the exhilarating performance of a supercar.

This McLaren arrives with a specification that leans heavily into luxury, craftsmanship, and stealth-oriented presence. Finished in the Elite “Serpentine” paint and paired with the electrochromic roof, it blends exotic-car drama with a refined, curated aesthetic. The car’s options list shows a buyer who prioritized both advanced technology and upscale materials, layering on carbon-fiber interior components, premium seating, driver-assistance features, and several MSO-defined touches. With a sticker of nearly $370K, this McLaren stands as a highly individualized build that balances performance add-ons—like the sports exhaust and lightweight forged wheels—with comfort-focused upgrades.

The McLaren 720S marked a leap forward in the Super Series lineup, combining cutting-edge aerodynamics, lightweight engineering, and breathtaking performance. This 2018 example is a Luxury trim finished in Glacier White Elite over a Black and Arizona Tan interior, with 24,112 miles. Powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, it offers supercar acceleration while retaining usability for everyday driving. With the Luxury Package, Bowers & Wilkins audio, and over $22,000 reported in carbon fiber exterior upgrades, this 720S is both refined and highly specified.

If you are among the privileged to be in the supercar market, then you have an exciting range of brand names to choose from. In this listing, we are zeroing in on McLaren. Many McLarens resemble each other, and they all have alphanumeric names, which can be a bit confusing. The 570 is, or was, the entry point or the quote sport series to the McLaren lineup. The 600s, like the 675 LT, are the Super Series, but then there are also models like the 720S, which are also supercars. And then there are the ultimate cars like the P1 and the Senna. What we brought to you here is a 2019 McLaren 570S Spider. It offers stupendous performance, despite being the entry-level one. This example has only covered 8,640 miles so far and comes to us from Long Island, New York.
