After being given a complete rework on cosmetics, as well as a new selection of drivetrains, the current second-gen Audi A5 series was released in June 2016, with the RS5 making its debut at the New York Auto Show two years later. Like the previous generation, the new RS5 didn't differ massively in terms of looks when compared to the regular A5, but there were a few details that ever so slightly gave away its racing heritage. We'll go throw that further down this read. For now, what's most important is that this magnificent example of German auto craftsmanship of a 2019 Audi RS5 Sportback is currently up for sale in Florida with 13,900 miles on the road.
Exterior and Interior
Back to the design, what makes this performance sedan stand out from its executive class sibling? The first noticeable difference is the blacked-out honeycomb grille upfront, hosting the proud RS5 badge, as well as a much more aggressively styled front bumper with bigger intakes for improved airflow into the engine. As you go along the side, you will notice wider fenders along with a subtle spoiler in the rear, dead giveaways of an RS5. This specific example is cloaked in a Glacier White Metallic paint job and includes the high-gloss black exterior kit, represented by a set of blacked-out side mirror housings and spoiler. At the rear, you will also see the RS exhaust with black tips peeping out of the vehicle's diffuser. The car sits on 20" 5 arm flag design forged wheels with a bi-color finish thanks to the "Black Optic" package and is wrapped with Continental 275/30 summer performance tires. The cabin of this 2019 Audi RS5 Sportback is a black and Crescendo red-stitched interior complete with the Fine Nappa leather package that gives Fine Nappa leather seats with honeycomb stitching, and a Fine Nappa Leather-covered center console, and armrests. Also included is the LED Lighting Plus package along with a Bang & Olufsen sound system with 3D surround sound.
Engine
Unlike the screaming V8 found in the previous generation, the 2019 Audi RS5 Sportback received a rather tame 2.9 V6. Sounds boring? Not really, because this subtle V6 got two turbos strapped to it, and while this still didn't give it as much power as its predecessor, it did produce 443 lb-ft of torque, more so than an Audi R8. Couple that with an 8-speed automatic transmission delivering power to Audi's Quattro system along with a Dynamic package giving you the RS sport suspension plus with dynamic ride control, and you're assured a smile on your face.

The renowned German marque Audi started its journey by solidifying itself as a manufacturer of luxury vehicles that deliver tech-forward engineering. Throughout the years, Audi have been true to their "Vorsprung durch Technik" philosophy in which they are committed to innovation, sustainability, and forward-thinking. They introduced their high-performance RS models back in the ‘80s where they made street legal versions of their race cars. Today, Audi RS models are track-ready luxury vehicles from Audi Sport GmbH. What we brought to you here is a 2023 Audi RS Q8 showing just 5400 miles on its odometer.
