Luxury and performance, the DB9 has both. British auto manufacturer Aston Martin gave the world a first glimpse of the grand tourer at the 2003 Frankfurt Auto Show. Unlike its older sibling, the DB7, this generation was built in Aston Martin's facility in Warwickshire, isolating the DB9 to perfect its design. This 2008 Volante is a truly remarkable example of British motorsport blended with luxury. Our subject car is located in Florida with only 13800 miles to its name.
Exterior and Interior
Aston Martin claimed that the DB9 was "a contemporary version of classic DB design elements and characteristics" as it retained its iconic Aston Martin Grille and side strakes. This particular DB9's exterior is swaddled in Meteorite Silver. It houses a black soft-top, large chrome wheels, sport red brake calipers, 4-wheel ventilated disc brakes, front stone guards, and a wind deflector for when you decide to go top-down. The cabin of this DB9 is a Sandstorm and Obsidian black blend with a Bridge Of Weir leather interior. It has a perforated leather seat insert with three-position memory seats, walnut veneer door cappings, a color-keyed steering wheel, contrasting color stitching, and carpet binding, as well as a satellite radio along with an Aston Martin 700W premium audio system.
Engine
The DB9 houses a legendary 5.9L V-12 producing a massive 450hp at 6000rpm and 570 N.m of torque. To put that into perspective, the DB9 goes from a standstill to 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds, crossing the quarter-mile in 13.6 seconds at 115mph and topping out at 186mph.

Inside, Obsidian Black upholstery, carbon fiber trim, embroidered Aston Martin wings, contrast stitching, and Bang & Olufsen audio reinforce its hand-finished luxury character.
