Overview of 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Restomod Supercharged LT4 For Sale by Owner

Chevy’s Bel Air is a well-known name in classic car circles and was named after the opulent Los Angeles neighborhood of the same name. Made between 1950 and 1981, the Bel Air was a full-size offering and came in many body styles, including sedans, coupes, convertibles, hardtops and station wagons. Chevy also offered a variety of powertrains, from thrifty Thriftmaster Sixes to massive Big-Block V8s. Today’s 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Restomod is rather different, as it’s been extensively massaged and enhanced to bring it to the form that you see here. It’s up for sale in Miami having been endowed with a direct-injection supercharged LT4 V8, Wilwood brakes, a custom two-tone leather interior and so much more to enjoy. The build comes with just 5,807 miles on the clock too.

Exterior and Interior

This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Restomod is a two-door coupe variant and has now been painted in a bright shade of yellow. The color is very representative of late Fifties and Sixties cars, as bright colors were a favorite in those days. This car sits on air shock absorbers and features a nice set of US Mags aluminum wheels in 18-inch size. These wheels are 12-inches wide at the rear and 10 inches wide at the front, which is a good thing since the supercharged V8 up front can easily leave long, dark rubber marks on the tarmac. You’ve also got signal lights beneath the doors for added safety. The brown and tan two-tone interior is a custom leather-upholstered job. It’s also accentuated by a custom full-length center console, making this car a luxurious four-seater. The seats are clearly aftermarket units, especially the power-adjustable front ones. There’s a digital dashboard, air conditioning, a custom touchscreen-controlled sound system and even a reverse camera. Basically, this car contains all the niceties you’d want for daily driving in 2025.

Engine

Furthermore, this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Restomod is also mechanically and electrically relevant for 2025 daily drives. The supercharged LT4 up front is more than capable of catapulting you at a startling pace, showing a clean pair of heels to even the most newfangled EVs. The 10-speed automatic transmission and 9-inch Positraction Ford rear end contribute to this as well. You’ve also got a 2.5-inch dual exhaust system to leave a very audible calling card. Other highlights include power steering, as well as power brakes from Wilwood. A stainless steel fuel tank and a B-Cool aluminum radiator with electric fans are also present.
