Overview of 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 For Sale by Owner

With the Camaro, Chevrolet proved that it’s not just sports cars, it could also create some serious American muscle when it wanted to. The early Camaros were powerful, sleek, and agressive in both power and style. It was a car that made a statement, and fun to drive, and won the hearts of people around the world. This 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe Z/28 is everything that made this muscle car the icon it became. Even better, it comes with some tasteful upgrades to keep this car on the road, and powerful as ever. With only 62,000 miles reported on the clock, this is a car you shouldn’t let go.

Exterior and Interior

Repainted in orange with white racing stripes stretching from front to back, this Camaro also comes with Cragar SS wheels to match the fit. With an immaculate body condition and bits of chrome in the front and rear, this is a car that will turn heads. There’s also a Z28 logo in the rear, in case someone wanted to know what breed of Camaro was in front of them. Inside, you’ll find a beautiful black interior that holds to the same original aesthetic. Settling into the black vinyl bucket seats, you’ll notice that there are also aftermarket guages to keep you informed about the car’s internals. When the engine notes of that big V8 needs some accompaniment, you also have the option of turning on the aftermarket stereo system with an aftermarket audio player for your favourite tunes, a big step up from the car’s audio when it was factory fresh.

Engine

But the real attraction of this Camaro is the engine. This 350ci LT1 engine is fitted with an Edelbrock top-end kit with an Edelbrock performance exhaust. All of that power is directed to the rear wheels using a TH400 automatic transmission. You’ll also be treated with power steering and power brakes for better handling and control, making this the perfect machine if you’re looking for a classic piece of American muslce that stays old school, with a few tasteful upgrades where it matters.
