Now in its third generation, the 1980 Chevrolet Corvette (or C3) was coming to the end of its life. But this typically American creation still had a lot to offer, with the solid underpinnings of the C3 ’Vette and the gorgeous Mako Shark II-inspired bodywork. Launched in 1968, it was still known as a serious alternative to the best that Europe had to offer.
