The Americans have always known how to build cars that are just a little more interesting and quirky than their foreign counterparts. And, when it comes to SUVs, Jeeps usually come to mind. This 1980 Jeep CJ-5, fully restored mind you, is a fine specimen of what rolled off of the American production lines during that period. While still reminiscent of the initial Willys Jeep design that dates back nearly 40 years before this, this CJ-5 incorporates a modern take on the classic Jeep design. Allowing the driver to have the full classic Jeep experience while enjoying the open-air cabin and V8 burble (Yes you read that right).
The interior is nothing short of what you would expect in an American vehicle of this age. Everything is built with a purpose. No-nonsense, straight-line styling. Everything is where you would expect to find it. The modern black leather seats with yellow piping contrast well with the overall color combo of the vehicle. The same thing can be said about the black and yellow flat-bottomed steering wheel. And don’t worry if the going gets rough, the CJ-5’s 4-wheel drive lever and other major controls are well within reach of the driver, either on the floor or on the custom painted dashboard panel, making sure that it isn’t left in a sticky situation. The CJ-5’s exterior is eye-catching, to say the least. The majority of the body is painted a bright yellow with black accents wheel arches, and a custom bullbar (with a fully functional 9,000 lbs Warn winch). Let’s not forget that custom painted bonnet. Couple this with its big nobbly 35-inch Super Swamper tires and custom roll cage, and the CJ-5 is bound to be the talking point wherever you take this CJ-5. Be it the middle of the desert, a grand hotel, or even the grocery store.
No small 4 cylinders here. This CJ-5 has been custom-fitted with a 6.2 liter LS Vortec engine with less than 1,500 miles. It doesn’t get much better than this. Moreover, it has also been fitted with the following - A new 350 turbo transmission A new DANA 300 transfer case A new aluminum radiator frame-off restoration completed in 2016 A new 2.5" Flow master dual exhaust New exhaust headers New power 4-wheel disc brakes with steel braided lines Allowing for an exceptionally modern driving experience for such an old vehicle.

As early as 1944, when World War II was reaching its tail end, the Willys-Overland Corporation started previewing a civilian version of the military Jeep. The civilian version would be nearly identical to the military one, with body-on-frame construction, rigid live axles, leaf springs, and part-time four-wheel drive. Called the CJ (Civilian Jeep) series, over 1.5 million were sold until 1986 when the Wrangler took over. This 1976 Jeep CJ-5 is one proud member of that massive family and is up for sale with a mere 15,000 miles under its belt. So, if you want to own and drive a classic American hero, here’s your chance to pick one up.

Jeep, originally a utility vehicle that played a pivotal role in the Allied victory, emerged as a symbol of resilience and limitless potential. The roots of the 1983 Jeep CJ-5 Std trace back to the aftermath of World War II. Inspired by the rugged conditions of war-torn landscapes, the M38A1's lineage directly influenced the creation of the CJ-5. With its distinct lack of doors and roof, the CJ-5 encapsulates the concept of open-bodied freedom. Under the guidance of Kaiser, the new corporate owner, CJ-5, underwent meticulous refinements. This stunning example of the 1983 Jeep CJ-5 we have here is an interesting case as the current owner believes its motor to be swapped.
What do you get if you combine a Jeep Wrangler with a pickup truck? Well, Jeep’s got you covered with the Gladiator. The current JT generation Gladiator debuted in 2019 and is perhaps the only modern pickup truck in the world that offers removable doors, a choice of hard or soft top roofs, and a fold-down front windshield. Yes, it’s basically a Wrangler with a cargo bed out back. If you’ve been interested in owning a Gladiator, check out this 11,649-mile 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave that’s up for grabs right now. The current owner says that the truck has recently received its 10,000-mile servicing, too.
The Jeep Wagoneer, also called the Jeep Grand Wagoneer was Jeep’s foray into the luxury 4x4 space. Today’s Grand Wagoneer continues that ethos, so let’s pay homage to the vehicle that set the template. Introduced in 1963, the Grand Wagoneer continued to be produced as Jeep changed hands from Kaiser to AMC to Chrysler. You can also tell from the photos of this 1984 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that this was the vehicle that brought the wood look back in vogue in the eighties. Showcasing all that and so much more, there’s a literal laundry list of new parts on this vehicle, making it a great classic to buy and, what’s more impressive, drive on a regular basis.
Jeep’s Wrangler is one of just two off-roaders available today with a removable top and removable doors. This unique trait makes it a great adventure machine for families who love getting really close with nature. Between 2007 and 2018, the JK-series Wrangler ruled the roost. It’s considered to be a fantastically capable off-roader in stock form. This 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon is from that era, and comes with a healthy 81,653 miles on the clock. Don’t let that fool you; this vehicle can easily triple that mileage with the right maintenance. Furthermore, this South Carolina-based Jeep has got a few tasty upgrades to enjoy.
Even the world’s best luxury automaker, Rolls-Royce, wasn’t immune from the SUV tsunami that gripped the automotive world. However, when you’re sitting at the top of the hierarchy of luxury, you’ve got to give it your best – and then some. That’s why Rolls-Royce took their own sweet time, only entering the luxury SUV game in 2018 with the Cullinan. Named after the largest rough diamond ever discovered to date, the Cullinan is the brand’s first SUV, and their first all-wheel drive vehicle. And as you’d expect, it’s every bit a Rolls-Royce. Don’t believe us? Buy this 2021 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge with a smidge less than 20,000 miles on the clock, and you’ll never settle for anything less.
Known as the 'go everywhere vehicle,' the Land Rover Defender is one of the most utilitarian and iconic vehicles in the world's automotive history and remains a relevant name today. However, much has changed since the Series 1 left the factories in the Fifties. Modern Land Rovers come equipped with all sorts of electronic driver assist systems to make traversal in rough terrain efficient, quick, and convenient. But for those who want a more 'raw experience' to truly connect with the vehicle and conquer the elements without compromising on more modern luxuries, this 1991 Land Rover Defender 110 is the ideal choice. Reportedly sporting several amenities for the driver, this Land Rover gives both the tactile experience of a classic Land Rover and a range of modern conveniences and luxuries.
Land Rover is one of those British automobile manufacturers which has some of the most widely known vehicles. It is a brand of Jaguar Land Rover and was introduced in 1948, as a predominantly four-wheel drive, off-road capable vehicle. Arguably the Land Rover Defender is the most well-known model of their lineup, the Defender dates all the way back to 1983 when it was first introduced, the Defender is the spiritual successor of the Land Rover Series from 1948. This particular 1989 Land Rover Defender 110 is far from what it was originally built with, as the owner has upgraded it with many parts, and comes with just 1,800 miles on the new engine.
