This Italian luxury sports car manufacturer has produced some of the most desirable cars on the planet. One of these is the Ferrari 308 GTB or GTS, a V8 mid-engined two-seater sports car produced from 1976 to 1985 and made famous by the 1980s hit TV show “Magnum PI.” A rare chance to own a 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole is at hand with this prime example which has no more than 22,013 miles on the odometer.

Exterior and Interior

Bedecked in a stunning yet Ferrari-esque Rosso Corsa color, this one of 3042 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole features an updated design from its previous iterations. The front features a slim louvered panel in the front lid to assist in radiator exhaust air exit. The radiator grille is finished in contrast black with flanking rectangular headlights. The power-operated mirrors feature a small full-color Ferrari badge. The front side panels are host to the yellow Ferrari logo, while the left rear quarter panel features the ”DESIGNO di Pininfarina” badge. Black is applied for the Targa top. The rear features quad taillights with the Ferrari horse on the left in silver and the “308 quattrovalvole” on the right. It sits on a set of vintage 5-spoke Ferrari wheels painted silver with center full-color Ferrari logos. The interior design follows a white theme. The leather bucket seats are finished with a unique stitching pattern. Replacing the original steering wheels is an aftermarket MOMO vintage-style 3-spoke steering wheel in black with white contrast stitching and the black Ferrari horse on a yellow background in the center.

Engine

The Quattrovalvole version of the Ferrari 308 GTS and the GTB was introduced as the standard GTB/GTS lacked any real power. The Quattrovalvole pushed the 2.9L Tipo V8 engine to a power output of 230hp and 188 lb.ft of torque while coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission.
