The Porsche 944 was a sports car from Porsche that ran between 1982 and 1991. It was different from the brand’s flagship 911 in many ways. For starters, it didn’t share a similar shape, nor did it have a rear-mounted engine. Instead, the engine was mounted in a front-mid configuration, and the front end sported…wait for it…pop-up headlamps! Plus, the Porsche 944 was a proper two-plus-two. Smaller adults had a better chance of fitting into its rear seats than in a 911. And of course, Porsche gave fans a turbo variant. Up for sale is one of those, a 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo with 95,000 miles. Furthermore, it’s got some tasty surprises under the hood, which the current owner report to have been fitted before they purchased the car.

Coming to you in an iconic Porsche color called Guards Red, this 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo is surely a stunner to behold. The car’s timeless lines have aged beautifully. Its looks are further bolstered by the set of aftermarket Fikse FM-10 17-inch wheels which it rides on. Based on the photos, we see that the pop-up headlamps are functional. The car’s iconic rear liftback is also in great condition, lifting up with ease to reveal the surprisingly ample trunk space on offer. The black interior of this 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo is said to have been recently redone. It offers seating for up to four occupants. The rear seats are more suited to children, but smaller adults can fit. Creature comforts are impressive, with power windows, power mirrors and climate control with air conditioning. Meanwhile, the center stack hosts a Blaupunkt CD-capable head unit, plus a Zeitronix ZT-2 wideband AFR controller with data logging.

The 2.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine under the hood of this 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo has received some fettling to help it make more power than the factory 217hp. We’ve got a larger Comp triple bearing CT3 55-58 turbocharger, higher-output fuel injectors, stainless steel fuel lines, braided lines, a Fabspeed downpipe, and silicon hoses. Then, there’s a Lindsey Racing boost controller and MAF. Meanwhile, there’s also a polished intake plenum and a 3-inch exhaust with sport-specification muffler. All this means that you can enjoy more power, directed to the rear wheels via the car’s standard 5-speed manual gearbox.

While Porsche’s 911 was, and still is their darling model, the Stuttgart automaker has got a fairly lengthy list of other Great Hits to enjoy. Take the 944 as an example. Made between 1982 and 1991, it was every bit the anti-911. Instead of putting the engine out back, it was placed between the front wheels. Instead of following the 911’s iconic teardrop shape, the 944 traded it for wedge-shaped styling and captivating pop-up headlamps. Today’s 1987 Porsche 944 is a bit different, because it’s got custom body panels, aftermarket wheels with spacers, and a host of upgrades. Bearing under 80,000 miles to its name, this Vermont-based modern classic sports car is a fantastic find for those who dare to be different.

Porsche isn’t only known for their ever-popular 911 sports car. This iconic German automaker has also offered other models with suitably differing designs and value propositions. Take the 944 as an example. With its squared-off design, pop-up headlamps and front-engined layout, it’s the polar opposite of the 911. Produced between 1982 and 1991, the 944 was initially naturally aspirated, but as with the 911, a turbo variant soon came onto the scene. That’s what this 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo is, and it’s done just under 94,000 miles so far. Furthermore, it’s got a manual gearbox, an electrically openable detachable roof panel, and even an extra set of wheels with slick tires in case you want to take this car to the drag strip or race track.

Everyone naturally gravitates towards the Porsche 911 if a sports car from this well-known German automaker is the desire of the heart. But, Porsche didn’t just make the 911, you know. Their back catalogue of Greatest Hits is full of interesting models to consider. Take the 944, for example. Produced between 1982 and 1991, it was an angular-designed, pop-up headlamped Porsche that was miles apart from the 911’s iconic shape. Its engine rested up front and was a four-cylinder unit. Today, a 944 makes for a fine classic car to own and drive with gusto. That’s why we’re glad to present this 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet for sale from Delaware. With under 36,000 miles to its name, this is a rare low-mileage example that shouldn’t be missed!

Porsche’s first SUV, the Cayenne came in 2002 and instantly began to make waves. Here was a midsize sport utility vehicle that actually offered sporty handling for keen drivers. It was envisioned as a step-up for 911 buyers, as the Cayenne actually precedes the Panamera sport sedan by some years. Now, the Cayenne is in its fourth generation. During the third generation, a Cayenne Coupe variant came to be as well. No it’s not a two-door SUV, but a sportier styled variant of the regular Cayenne, particularly in the rear profile. That’s what we’ve got on sale today, a 2024 Porsche Cayenne Coupe from Atlanta, Georgia. This turbocharged coupe SUV comes with two keys, 16,000 miles and some nice optional extras. It’s the perfect family car for the petrolhead, basically.

This 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe is up for grabs in Union City right now, and we strongly suggest that you buy it before someone else does. Don’t even think about the 138,000 miles on the odometer, because we’re told that this is an original equipment kept car, and all electronics function like new. Why should you buy this car? Well, it’s from the 996 generation, the first one to adopt water cooling for the then all-new 3.4-liter flat six that powered the car. Water cooling enabled Porsche to unlock higher and more reliable performance, better emissions, and comprehensively update the 911 to meet the changing world of sports cars. So, this car is not only an enjoyable daily driver, but a classic to be, and historically significant too.

The Baby Porsche SUV of the range these days, the Macan was conceived as a compact luxury crossover, intended to slot in beneath the Cayenne in Porsche’s SUV range. Now in its second generation, the Macan, like any self-respecting Porsche, offers a driver-focused experience, intended to target enthusiasts and fans of the brand. If you’re in search of a Macan, we have this sub 15,000-mile 2024 Porsche Macan GTS for grabs from Naples, Florida. It’s reportedly an all-original car with window sticker and two keys included in the sale.

This 2024 BMW M4 Competition xDrive Convertible combines modern M performance with open-top driving, finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over a Black Extended Merino Leather interior. This 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is available right now in San Marcos, Texas, and why should you buy it? Well, for starters, it’s got a scarcely believable 8,000 miles on the odometer! That’s fantastic for a sixth-generation or C6 Corvette, but this car also rocks the Z51 Performance Package and the 3LT Preferred Equipment Group. This means it’s not only well-equipped, but a treat to drive. In case you don’t know, the C6 was a notable step up from the C5 thanks to its slightly shorter overall dimensions but longer wheelbase. This made the car a nicer handling package, as well as gave it a roomier interior. Plus, this car comes with a 6-speed manual transmission to really work out the larger V8 that came with the C6. There’s more, of course, so keep reading.
