Sporting a Ruby Red Metallic exterior, this 1989 GMC K5 Jimmy LT4 looks imposing, helped by its 38-inch General Grabber M/T tires, running boards, and carbon-fiber wrapped hard top. The imposing grille surround and bumpers are chromed, and the vehicle sits tall and proud. You can tell that some serious work has gone into the build. Head and tail lamps largely remain stock, and you'll notice some discrete badging to indicate that this isn't an ordinary K5 Jimmy. Inside, there's a color that's fittingly called Ferrari Tan, which is very apt when you consider what's under the hood. Four adults can be comfortably seated in a plush cabin that features a tilt steering column, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows, power door locks, a rear window defroster, a heater, an AM/FM radio, and USB ports. We also observe a Vintage Air air conditioning system in the dash, a center console with cupholders between the two front seats, and blue-knobbed levers for gear selection and transfer case operation.
