Overview of 1993 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 For Sale by Owner

The third generation, more commonly referred to as the Fox Body Mustang is loved by countless pony car enthusiasts. The Fox Body was able to revive the Mustang nameplate by replacing its lackluster predecessor. It was available in various trim levels and different engine packages to suit any enthusiasts' needs. This stunning example of the 1993 Ford Mustang is an LX trim level, which came with the legendary 5.0 V8. Located in North Carolina and with only 62,000 reported miles, this car retains its 90s charisma with some subtle mods to make it an enjoyable car to drive.

Exterior and Interior

The Fox Body has an acquired taste with its boxy 90s lines and square taillights. This 1993 Ford Mustang LX is a real looker but is very subtle with its crisp white paint job and black convertible top. It is accented by a set of 17-inch chrome aftermarket alloy wheels wrapped in new Firestone tires, giving the car some bling and menacing stance. The brakes also have been refurbished to showroom condition. A pair of clear LED taillights and dual stainless steel exhaust wrap up the rear end. You can cruise around town with the top down or while staying cozy inside with the functioning new AC. All the while you're being held in place by the blue leather seats. The interior makes sure your passenger knows they are cruising in a Mustang by displaying the galloping Mustang above the glove box.

Engine

The 5.0 in this Fox Body is the largest capacity engine you can get in a Fox body, and many would agree it is the best engine for the car. With 200hp stock and an automatic gearbox, it makes sure that this 1993 Ford Mustang LX is no slouch. The owner reports that the engine has been given a new breath of life with a new high-volume oil pump, stock spec camshafts, rocker arms, pushrods, gasket kit, and starter. To improve performance, he has fitted the engine with short tube headers and an aftermarket exhaust and intake system, letting the 5.0 breathe freely while giving it a mean voice. It is also fitted with a 3000/3400 stall converter to help this Fox leap off the line.
