This is when air cooling was exchanged for water cooling, due to increasing power demands and tightening emissions regulations. That makes cars like this 1998 Porsche 911 Cabriolet from the 993 era one of the last of the air-cooled brigade. They may be the last of an era, but they are far from dinosaurs.
