The Mercedes Benz S-Class, formally known as “Sonderklasse” is a series of luxury sedans build up to perfection by German automaker Mercedes Benz. Since1972, when the official S-Class model was launched, these magnificently sleek, precise, and technologically trailblazing cars are not just the best full-size luxury sedans in the world, but the flagship of the Star. Now on the seventh generation, the S-Class has brought sensational passenger, as well as driver experience, comfort, and performance to the table since its debut. This 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG is a proud member of the sixth generation S-Class family, which saw new technology such as Magic Body Control, which included Road Surface Scan for the first time. This stunning example comes from Florida with just 50,000 miles on the clock, a clean Carfax and M-Tech documentation, as well as a host of tasty upgrades under the skin. Let us tantalize you with one of its highlights – 1,000hp!
This 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG offers and exclusive AMG design with lower body work. Upfront it features a large fictional grille with airflow channeling winglet and a matted chrome splitter. It sports all LED exterior lighting performing every exterior lighting function with distinctive style. Furthermore, it’s complemented by an elegant silver paintjob and rides on 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheel with low-profile high-performance tires. It offers a panoramic sunroof and a rear diffuser that frames the quadruple exhaust tips. The black themed cabin of our 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4MATIC Stage 3 is cloaked in leather with silver aluminum trims. It offers heated and ventilated seats, 2-spoke design steering wheel with paddle shifters and two 12.3-inch LCD displays, apart from the usual host of luxury amenities that can be expected on a pinnacle full-size luxury car from Mercedes-Benz.
This 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4MATIC has more than just a cherry on top of its already amazing cake. It’s capable of up to 1,000 horsepower! The car comes standard with a 5.5L twin turbo V8 engine mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox that drives all four wheels, hence the 4MATIC tag. This already potent engine has undergone an M-Tech M1000 upgrade and an M157 W.3 Turbo upgrade which opens up 1000+ crank horsepower (844hp to the wheels on pump gas and 950hp on race fuel tune). The engine feature Blackboost intakes, Pure 1000 turbos, Weistece 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust. Few features of the Weistec M157 W.3 upgrade include M157 ECU Upgrade, larger impeller wheel and Garrett GT22 frame designed for the M157 (it’s a 100% bolt on upgrade). It consists of 93 Octane tune and race fuel tune and the boost is controlled and tapered up to the peak of 23psi as RPMS increase. The tune has the potential to reach over 1,400hp, but don’t let it intimidate you, as the S-Class shows courtesy and manners with its adaptive suspension on tap to provide comfort and sport modes when desired.

The S-Class nameplate is one with a long history of producing technologically advanced, full-size luxury sedans. However, for a few years between 2015 and 2021 it also came in the form of a coupe (named the C217 generation). It filled the role left empty by the retirement of the CL-Class and followed the same concept: pillarless luxury grand tourer. The S63 AMG version added the word ‘high performance’ to that description and shares the same drivetrain as its sedan counterpart. Mercedes packed the S coupe with the same industry-leading technology that the sedan got, but the market for a car of this caliber was quite niche, leading to its discontinuation after 2021 as it didn’t meet the production numbers that Mercedes wanted (leaving buyers with the option of getting an E-Class coupe or an SL now). While the relatively low sales were bad news for Mercedes, it means that current and future S-Class Coupe owners have a rarer car on their hands, potentially making it a sought-after future classic one day (especially the more desirable models like the S 63 AMG).
