Engine

Considering the Corvette is a sports car this 2022 Chevrolet Corvette 2LT Stingray comes with a 6.2L V8 engine whilst mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters. The power output is rated at 490hp along with 460 lb. ft of torque. Launch-control is onboard to assist with explosive takeoffs. 0-60 mph is clocked in at 3.0 seconds. The top speed is limited to 184 mph as per the manufacturer. Part of the mechanical system is a dry-sump oil system along with Active Fuel Management to enhance gas mileage.
