Arguably, Chevrolet's most popular car is the Chevrolet Corvette, which spans over 60 years of production and eight generations of speed and power. The Corvette has since become widely known and accepted as "America's Sports Car." The eighth generation of the Corvette was introduced in 2020 in coupe and convertible versions, along with three trim levels. Up for grabs is an almost brand-smacking new 2023 Chevrolet Corvette 70th Anniversary Special Edition with a dismissable 50 miles on the odometer and ready for the new lucky owner.
Exterior and Interior
Chevrolet offers the 2023 Corvette in 12 exterior colors, with the 70th Anniversary Special Edition reserving two exclusive colors, the Carbon Flash Metallic and the Pearl Metallic Tricoat, our specimen sports the latter color option. Other unique customizations include the 70th Anniversary exterior badging and logo on the wheel caps, along with the staggered 19" front and 20" rear Midnight Gray painted forged aluminum wheels with a red stripe backed by the Edge Red-painted brake calipers. Access to the interior is welcomed by the 70th Anniversary sill plate. The interior follows a unique theme of Ceramic White and Carbon Flash dual tone. The GT2 bucket seats feature Ceramic White with contrast red stitching Nappa leather seating surfaces with perforated inserts. Torch Red seat belts along with a sueded microfiber-wrapped steering wheel finish the interior. A nice addition from Corvette is the rear fascia protector with a full-color embroidered crossed flag logo on it. Modern amenities include a premium 14-speaker Bose audio system and navigation options, a 4G hotspot, and a performance data recorder among others.
Engine
The Chevrolet Corvette is known for its performance on and off the track. As such this 2023 Chevrolet Corvette 70th Anniversary Special Edition comes equipped with the roaring 6.2L LT2 V8 engine coupled with a Tremec DCT 8-speed transmission, propelling the car from 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds. Power output is at 490hp along with 465 lb.ft of torque. Part of the 70th Anniversary options is the Z51 Performance Suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control. The Corvette also comes with two radiators to keep the engine at optimal temperatures.
The 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible sits at the heart of the early C3 era, pairing dramatic styling with the kind of mechanical specification that made these cars so memorable.
