The Corniche name dates back to 1939 when a prototype was created based on the Bentley Mark V. Unfortunately, the car was never produced due to the onset of the first world war. The Corniche nameplate finally made its debut in 1971, in the form of a two-door, front-engine luxury car that was to appeal to rich and daring.
