Nonetheless, it's not the top speed that determines the driving experience. Choosing the rear-wheel drive version is like driving a larger BMW M440i. Additionally, the quick-shifting 8-speed DCT amplifies the sense of power, giving the car a stronger performance feel than expected.
It may be a base model, but the 2022 BMW 840i's cabin is anything but basic. It blends style and functionality with heated, electronically adjustable leather seats up front and a decently spacious second row that only accommodates two due to the coupe body style. If passenger room is a deal breaker, the 840i Gran Coupe might be the better choice. The 2022 840i's cabin materials are top-notch, leaving little to criticize.
