The Chevrolet Chevy II was a key part of Chevrolet’s small-car strategy in the 60s and 70s. The first Chevy II was designed with the likes of the Ford Falcon in mind and was a quickly-developed entrant into the small-car space. The Nova tag was reserved for the top of the line models, and the model quickly became known by both Chevy II & Nova titles.
