The iconic Mustang from Ford is one of the mostly instantly recognizable and sought after pony cars ever. We’ve seen more come our way than we can count offhand! Whilst the Ford Mustang is currently on the sixth generation and an electric generation is making an entrance too, we take a look back at the first generation Mustang to come out of Ford with this here car. The 1965 Ford Mustang has a special place in pony car aficionado’s hearts, as it was the progenitor of the Mustang brand. What we have to offer is a highly desirable 1965 Ford Mustang coupe, with just 54,000 original miles on it and available to be seen in The Big Apple.
This iconic car is bedecked in a sultry red patina, with a set of vintage-style wheels to match the exterior. It is reported that it was repainted during the resto/ refresh to the original factory red. The interior of this Mustang is finished off in black leather, which was reupholstered during the rebuild. Pride of place is taken up by the 3-spoke Ford Mustang branded steering wheel in black and glistening chrome, behind which rest the speedometer in a horizontal layout along with the fuel gauge, and tachometer. The 1965 Ford Mustang was available in a myriad of engine and transmission combinations, this 1965 Ford Mustang coupe comes reportedly with the original 200 ci 3.3L Thriftpower I6 engine coupled with the 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission, which is reported to be the original as per the seller. All this is able to push out 120hp of power along with 190 lb.ft of torque, these are considerable numbers for a car with a curb weight of 2,445 lb. To further entice you, it is reported that the motor and transmission are numbers matching. Stopping power is courtesy of all round drum brakes, which are reported to have been serviced, along with an engine oil change.

In the ʼ00s, Ford decided to honor its timeless Thunderbird personal luxury car with a retro-modern eleventh generation. Produced for just three short years, this eleventh-generation T-Bird saw over 60,000 units made.
