Background Story of this 1966 Ford Mustang

Overview of 1966 Ford Mustang For Sale by Owner

Ford’s glorious Mustang sold by the proverbial bucketload the moment it was announced. It’s said that 22,000 orders were taken on the first day it debuted. Offered in hardtop, fastback, and convertible body styles, it’s no surprise that everyone wanted their own pony car. This 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible is thus a lovely classic to add to your collection. Offering an open-air driving experience with all those classic first-generation Mustang cues, This reportedly all-original car comes with two keys, 4,800 miles on the odometer, and is reported to be up-to-date on servicing.

Exterior and Interior

This 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible bears a lovely shade of blue that’s not too bright nor too dark. It’s a pleasant shade that will look good cruising down a boulevard or parked on a city street. The car’s white convertible top adds a sense of contrast and gives the vehicle a faint nautical theme. Meanwhile, it has plenty of chrome, as was required in the sixties. Chrome bumpers, in particular, were a mark of distinction, and this ‘Stang has got them to flaunt. Furthermore, the car’s lights appear to be in good condition, as do its five-spoke period-correct wheels. All badging is present and correct, particularly the all-important galloping horse emblems. The four-seat interior of this 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible is also in matching blue, and is reportedly the car’s original interior, Hence, you’ll find period fixtures such as its low-back seats, push-button radio, thin-rimmed steering wheel, and T-bar gear shift knob. Wind-up windows add to the car’s charm, and you can consider it to be refreshingly free of today’s myriad power-assisted features and digital distractions. The car’s trunk is also in similarly good condition and hosts the spare wheel, neatly wrapped up on one side.

Engine

This 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible is powered by a 289ci V8 that rumbles and roars its way along, propelling the car via a 3-speed automatic transmission. You can expect around 200hp and 280lb-ft, enough for a sprightly drive without getting into trouble.

1969 Ford Torino Cobra

Current Ask
VERIFIED SELLER
PENDING SALE
$68,999

Ford’s Torino is a midsize car that was sold between 1968 and 1976. It also dabbled in the muscle car segment, with a prime example being this first-generation 1969 Ford Torino Cobra Jet. For buyers who wanted something tamer, there was a host of straight six or V8 powerplants, but the ultimate was the massive 428ci Cobra Jet V8. That’s what this Thousand Palms-based car offers, along with a Marti Report and just 21,000 miles on the clock. In fact, 1969 Cobras like this one are quite desirable due to their rarity since many Torino’s didn’t survive due to a variety of reasons. Perhaps they weren’t quite seen as preservation candidates way back then. Now, a car like this one isn’t a common occurrence, so if you wish to own this Cobra, contact us right now.

Current Ask
VERIFIED SELLER
PENDING SALE
$60,000

A Thirties Ford is a fine car to build a hot rod on, because its so outrageous in 2025! Almost all the folks living today will likely never have been around when these cars came from the Ford Factory in brand-new condition, and their only view of them will likely have been from grainy, old-timey photos, or in cartoons. The latter is from where this particular 1933 Ford 3-Window Coupe Hot Rod seems to have popped from, but let us assure you, it’s real. Currently up for sale in Spring, Texas, it’s got a supercharged small-block under the hood that’s reportedly been dynoed at nearly 700 horsepower! That, its custom interior, suicide doors, Hoosier Pro Street racing rear tires and overall outlook mean that it’s a definite conversation starter, head turner, you name it. If you’d like to acquire this quirky machine, we’re glad to assist.

1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

Current Ask
VERIFIED SELLER
PENDING SALE
$69,999

Chevy’s second-generation or C2 Corvette has got to be the one with the shortest production run! It was made between 1963 and 1967, and just under 118,000 units were produced during this time. However, the C2 brought us many Corvette features such as pop-up headlamps, only V8s under the hood, and the Sting Ray badge. That’s why getting your hands on a C2 is a smart idea, albeit not one of the easiest. Happily, we have this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Convertible for sale from Newtown, Pennsylvania. The car has just 5,764 miles on it and looks fabulous!
