Exterior and Interior
Dressed in Regimental Red, this 1968 Pontiac LeMans 2-Door Hardtop is definitely a head turner as it rumbles by, or screams down a drag strip. The car comes with a black vinyl-upholstered hardtop, as was a popular option back in the day. It rides on Pontiac Rally II wheels and features hood pins. But wait, there’s something else on the hood! Why it’s the quirky hood-mounted tachometer that is outside the car, but sits facing the driver, visible through the windshield. This car also has stainless steel rocker panels. The black interior of this 1968 Pontiac LeMans 2-Door Hardtop features a deluxe wooden steering wheel, and shows off the famous Hurst ‘His & Hers’ dual shift gate shifter. The idea behind this was that back in the day, those who wanted to drive the car like a regular automatic could simply slot it into D and cruise away, but when a more dynamic driving experience was desired, simply moving the shifter into the next gate unlocked proper manual shifting of the 3-speed autobox. The car also comes with a 4-core radiator, power steering, power brakes and electronic ignition.
