Ford’s Bronco was the first Sport Utility Vehicle – that’s SUV to you and me – to be developed by Ford. When it was released in 1966, it became clear that the Blue Oval had knocked it out of the park on their first try. The Bronco would be a sales success, with five generations made until 1996, then a twenty five year hiatus and a fine sixth generation that continues on sale to this day. Owning a classic Bronco is a bucket list item for many, and we’ve got one vehicle up for grabs today. Here’s a second-generation 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT up for sale in Downey, California. The second generation was introduced in 1978, making this vehicle straight from the first year of production.
