The Ferrari 328 GTS is admired as one of Maranello’s most timeless designs, but this example reimagines the classic wedge-shaped targa into a bespoke, show-stopping creation. Finished in Grigio Medio over a Nero interior, this 1988 328 GTS has been transformed with a one-off carbon Kevlar widebody designed by Mitch Button, blending classic Ferrari lines with modern motorsport cues. Built as a Toyo-sponsored SEMA car, it features extensive fabrication work, a turbocharged 3.2-liter V8, and air suspension management for stance and adjustability. With just over 32,000 miles, this one-of-a-kind Ferrari is as much a statement piece as it is a driver’s machine.

The exterior showcases the carbon Kevlar widebody, fitted with custom Rotiform OZR wheels wrapped in Toyo tires. Mirrors sourced from a Ferrari 458 GT3 and 288 GTO fog lamps add racing-inspired authenticity, while a Grigio Medio finish emphasizes its aggressive stance. Suspension is managed by an Accuair Endo-CVT E-Level system paired with QA1 shocks and universal air bags, offering both show-car stance and on-road versatility. Inside, Bride carbon bucket seats, a Momo steering wheel, and a Retrosound Grand Prix DIN radio paired with JBL speakers create a purposeful yet stylish cabin that complements the car’s custom ethos.

Beneath the rear deck lies a heavily reworked 3.2-liter V8 fitted with a Xona Rotor X3C turbocharger, recently removed and serviced by Boost Lab, Inc. Supporting upgrades include Tial Sport blow-off valves and wastegates, a new oil scavenge system, and fabrication by Eric Cheney of Voodoo Engineering. The turbo setup features small-frame ball bearing internals, piston ring GT30R and T2/T25 components, and a VSR-balanced CHRA, bringing reliability and precision to its forced-induction performance. A set of TubiStyle headers and a straight-pipe exhaust amplify both output and soundtrack. Power is delivered through a 5-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels, ensuring an authentic Ferrari driving experience despite the extensive modifications.
