Chevrolet has been in the motoring industry for well over 100 years right now. To compete against the Ford F-Series and the Dodge Ram Series, Chevrolet introduced the Chevrolet C/K series of trucks to the general market. The Chevrolet C/K series was produced from 1959 to 2002, with the fourth generation being the last of it and subsequently succeeded by the Chevrolet Silverado. The fourth generation Chevrolet C/K series is called the OBS or Old Body Style. A performance-oriented variant was built from 1990-1993, called the 454 SS. Up for grabs is one of 16,953 1991 Chevrolet GMT-400 454 SS in excellent condition and with just 49,678 miles on the odometer.

For the first two years of the Chevrolet 454 SS production, the sole color choice offered was the monochromatic Onyx Black. The front of this 1991 Chevrolet GMT-400 454 SS features a gloss black grille with red trim badging and quad headlights. The front air dam is host to a pair of fog lights. Body-colored bumpers and mirrors are in place. Externally identifiable markings are the 454 SS decals on the bedside. The seller reports an aftermarket hood scoop is in place. The truck sits on a set of 15” styled wheels chrome plated and with the Chevrolet logo in the center. Unique bucket seats wrapped in Garnet Red follow the interior theme. The interior features gauges on the driver-side A-pillar. Behind the tilt 4-spoke sport steering wheel is the analog instrument cluster set on a black background. Features include cruise control, AM/FM cassette player with a graphic equalizer, and intermittent wipers. The floor is host to Garnet Red textured floor mats. The center console has inbuilt cup holders to hold a variety of beverages.

Under the hood of this 1991 Chevrolet GMT-400 454 SS is a 7.4L big-block V8 with aftermarket headers. Coupled with a 4-speed THM400 automatic transmission, the 454 SS is rated at 255hp of power and at the time road churning 405 lb.ft of torque. 0-60mph was clocked in at sub-eight seconds. Factory performance parts include upgraded suspension, Bilstein shocks, a front stabilizer bar, and a 12.7:1 fast-ratio steering gear system.

Few trucks will turn as many heads as this 1998 Chevrolet Silverado. The 1500 Silverado is a light-duty version of the legendary Silverado line that was introduced to replace the Chevy C/K. Interestingly both Chevrolet and GMC offered a Silverado trim on their top-of-the-line C/K and Suburban trucks, prior to the Silverado being spun off as a model of itself. The Silverado nameplate remains the gold standard of Chevy pick-ups to this day.

One of the shortest eras in the Corvette’s history has got to be the second generation, also known as the C2. It was made between 1963 and 1967 – just five model years. However, the C2 cemented many Corvette mainstays. For example, it started off the pop-up headlamp craze that endured until the end of the C5 in 2004. It brought us the famous Stingray name that we see even in today’s C8. Most critically, the C2 ensured that every Corvette from then on would only pack a V8 under the hood (or in the case of the C8, behind the passenger cell) – no more weedy six-cylinder powerplants. That’s why the C2 is an important juncture in Chevy Corvette fandom. To help those seeking a C2, we have a 80,000-mile 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe for sale from Mesa, Arizona. This car comes with a 327 under the hood, and a manual transmission too.

The 1961 Chevrolet Impala is one of the most recognizable early-60s American coupes, known for its sweeping side trim, quad headlights, and jet-age design language. This example has been transformed into an LS-swapped restomod while retaining much of its original character inside and out. Finished in green with a white interior, the car features a recently installed LS1 V8 with approximately 94,601 miles on the engine. The firewall has been painted in candy apple red, highlighting the custom drivetrain installation, though the exterior paintwork remains unfinished and the seller has noted a quarter panel issue pending further documentation. Sitting on 22-inch wheels, this Impala blends classic styling with modern performance, presenting as a partially completed project with strong mechanical foundations.

Now here’s one of the hottest American cars you can get your mitts on. This 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe 1LT comes from the C8, or eighth generation of Chevy’s popular Corvette grand tourer. It’s got a lovely 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 behind the passenger cabin to move it with remarkable swiftness. Wait, did we say behind the passenger cabin? Yes, for the C8, Chevy really moved things around, going for that mid-engined, supercar-fighting stance that takes the Corvette from greatness to uber greatness. You can have your very own example of that uber greatness right now if you buy this 46,133-mile car from its current owner in Marston, Missouri. The car also comes with the Performance Exhaust option, Carbon Flash painted aluminum wheels, and more.
