



The third-generation Chevrolet Corvette, or C3 as it’s more commonly known, featured improved and more dynamic styling from its predecessors. Available in a couple of body styles, either a coupe with removable T-Tops or convertible, the C3 lasted in production from 1968 to 1982. This red 1972 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in Walden, New York, and features Chevrolet’s 350ci V8 engine. The seller claims to have fitted many new parts to this car, and with a list of modifications made to it, this Corvette provides an interesting entry into classic American motoring.
This Corvette C3 features leather seats, a Hurst shifter, and multiple gauges that appear intact in the photos. It also features air-conditioning. The deep-red exterior features period chrome trim that you’d expect, as well as deep-dish alloy wheels.
With a bump in capacity from 1969 (from 327ci to 350ci) the small-block Chevy V8 in this Chevrolet Corvette is sure to pack a punch. It delivered 255hp when new, but has now seen a rebuild with 0.40 oversized pistons. The pistons themselves are from Keith Black Racing, while the car also has a high-flow fuel pump and has had an EFI conversion. Hooker headers combined with Trick Flow mufflers let the engine breathe more freely.

Look what we’ve got here! The last of the pop-up headlamp ‘Vettes, the fifth generation or C5 variant. This 1999 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible has got just over 71,000 miles and comes with a 5.7-liter LS1 under the hood.
