If you’re looking for a luxury vehicle manufacturer from Japan, you’ve got a few choices. However, nobody comes close to the Japanese luxury brand cachet that Lexus enjoys in the North American market, of course a large part of that is due to it being a Toyota sub-brand. In 2001, Lexus introduced their SC430 model to the market as a two-door coupe with a retractable aluminum hardtop. The SC430 was marketed as the ‘Jewel of Lexus’ and the brand’s first drop-top to boot. If you’re looking for one of these, here’s a 2007 Lexus SC430 Convertible from Arizona with a healthy 106,000 miles on the odo. It’s seen a recent service and has a fair bit of work done to keep it humming smoothly.

The shape of the Lexus SC430 drew bouquets and brickbats. Granted, it’s an acquired taste, as the designer Sotiris Kovos was aiming to create something inspired by the yachts in Monaco, a Land Yacht if you will. This 2007 Lexus SC430 Convertible wears a classy and reportedly rare Smoky Granite Mica Metallic paint job and rolls on a set of aftermarket XO forged 19-inch staggered concave wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Cup Sport 2 tires. Fret not, purists, the original 18-inch stock Lexus two-tone chrome and silver alloys are included in the sale. The interior features Ecru leather with wood trim and comes with all the powered refinements including power seats, power windows, power convertible hardtop and power mirrors. Climate control is included for the comfort of all occupants and a Levinson premium sound system has been specced too.

This 2007 Lexus SC430 Convertible is powered by a 4.3L V8 producing 288hp and 317lb-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through the upgraded six-speed automatic transmission. This car has also received a new timing belt and sensors, water pump, spark plugs and Lexus battery in the fall of 2021. A K&N air filter aids the engine’s breathing, and the brake rotors and pads have been replaced around 5,000 miles ago according to the seller. The milestone 100,000 mile service has been done too, for added peace of mind.

Lexus is a brand that was basically conceived for the United States. Made over two generations, the SC bowed out in 2010 to make way for the LC. Today, we’ve got a 32,000-mile 2007 Lexus SC430 for sale, and you don’t want to miss out on this one-owner, original mileage vehicle.
