The 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe is from the third generation of the BMW 6 Series and the highest-performance model of its sports model lineup. Inspired by the 2007 BMW CS Concept, this F06 Gran Coupe was brought to life in 2012 and discontinued in 2018, leaving a significant mark on the German automobile maker’s rich history. The BMW M6 has represented the top model in BMW’s 6-Series hierarchy since the first M6 emerged in 1983, from the E24 generation of the 6-Series. So what’s the 6-Series? Well, it’s been a luxury grand tourer produced by BMW in intervals over the past four decades. The E24 was the first generation, made between 1976 and 1979. Then, there was a long gap until 2003 when the second generation came into existence.
