BMW shocked the world in April 2014 when it literally sent a concept car to market. The i8 was unveiled at the 2013 International Motor Show in Germany and was almost unchanged from the concept cars that previewed it. Looking like something out of a futuristic movie, the i8 has since been recognized as a fine hybrid sports car, winning a slew of awards, and gaining fandom across the globe. If you want to own and drive one of these spaceships on wheels, consider this 2016 BMW i8 Giga World Coupe. This Georgia-based car has done 39,950 miles and awaits its next owner.
The styling of the BMW i8 is totally unlike any other vehicle from 2014. BMW wanted to showcase its futuristic performance-biased hybrid powertrain with an equally futuristic body. Whilst you could have your i8 in a bright color, this 2016 BMW i8 Giga World Coupe shuns those for a suave suit of Sophisto Gray Metallic instead. It lets its styling and gullwing doors do the talking, as well as the set of 20-inch wheels on which it rolls. It’s also got LED headlamps with cornering lights, and a $6,000 option of the BMW Laserlight system. Venture aboard and the cabin features a Giga Ivory White theme. Whilst four can be seated at a pinch, the rear seats are best for kids or your luggage. The cabin looks like something straight out of a Sci-Fi movie as well, with screens, buttons, and interesting shapes all-round. It’s got plenty of tech including dual-zone climate control, Harman/Kardon sound system, electrically adjustable seats, BMW’s iDrive infotainment system with navigation, AUX, USB and Bluetooth and full perforated leather upholstery.
What powers this spaceship, you might wonder? A BMW TwinPower turbo engine? Yes, but it’s not quite what you’d expect. This 2016 BMW i8 Giga World Coupe packs a 1.5L three-cylinder BMW TwinPower turbo engine that drives the rear wheels through an Aisin six-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the front wheels are driven by an electric motor. The total system output is an impressive 357hp and 420lb-ft, enabling a zero-to-sixty sprint in under five seconds in sport mode, and an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph. In all-electric mode, the i8 can travel for up to 15 miles on the battery, whilst topping out at 75mph.

The BMW i8 is a plug-in hybrid sports car that was introduced along with the BMW i3 marketed under a newly introduced “BMW i’ sub-brand. It appeared as a fuel efficient alternative to pure gas powered sports cars, while boasting design elements of exotic supercars. The flashy design of the BMW i8 was heavily influenced by the fabled BMW M1, paying homage to BMW’s last production mid-engined sports car prior to the BMW i8. However, it was not just the hybrid system that took a big step forward in automotive technology. There were many other elements. The BMW i8 was the first production car to be equipped with laser headlights that could light up the road much farther than LED lights. This particular 2015 model with a lithium ion traction battery has clocked a mere 20,636 on the odometer. With only 20,500 BMW i8 models produced throughout its life, this 2015 BMW i8 Pure Impulse World is for sale in Raleigh, North Carolina.
One of the most futuristic cars to ever be produced by BMW, the i8 dropped jaws when it entered production in 2013. It had been shown as a concept in 2010, but nobody expected BMW to go with it in such an unfiltered manner. Yet, they did, and showed the world that hybrids could be fun and exciting to drive. So, why not get yourself an i8 and add some zest to your life? This 2017 BMW i8 is a worthy contender for that extra space in your garage or driveway. The car comes with a host of packages, including the Pure Impulse Program, the Mobility Kit, Comfort Access, Storage Package, Active Driving Assistant, Park Distance Control, Advanced RTTI, a larger capacity fuel tank, and more. It’s got under 42,000 miles on the clock, and the charger is included too.
Heralding BMW’s entry into electric and hybrid mobility, the German automaker’s i-series kicked off with the i8. What a way to start; here was a low-slung two-seat sports car that looked straight out of a sci-fi movie. The i8 featured groundbreaking styling by Benoit Jacob, and a surprising choice of engine – mid-mounted of course. Naturally, there are quite a few fans of the i8, and we’ve got a pleasant 9,000-mile 2014 BMW i8 for one lucky person to grab. So, if you’ve been lusting after an i8, drop whatever you’re doing right now and call us pronto.
BMW has always bragged about how they produce The Ultimate Driving Machine, and time and time again, they seem to be right. This 2017 BMW 650i with just over 70,000 miles on the clock is the perfect long-distance, high-performance grand tourer. With a rear wheel drive setup and a fat V8 up front, fun is sure to be had. The BMW 3-Series is widely regarded as one of the best driver-oriented luxury compact cars around. The 3-Series has been around for decades now, and there have been some iconic models. One of these is the E36 generation, which was made between 1990 and 2000. The E36 came in sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible body styles. Over time, it’s garnered a dedicated fan base and is a definitive future classic. That’s why you should seriously consider buying this 1994 BMW 325i Convertible that’s up for sale with us. The car comes with a smidge over 70,000 miles on the odometer, and is a great cruiser to enjoy on the weekends. In fact, it’s modern enough that you could even drive it regularly if required – like say, when the modern machines of today throw up a hissy fit because their software isn’t feeling right…
BMW’s range of M spec cars are nothing short of motoring icons, and each model brings out an experience filled with tail snapping performance and wide smiles – be it on track or tackling your favorite B roads.
