BMW shocked the world in April 2014 when it literally sent a concept car to market. The i8 was unveiled at the 2013 International Motor Show in Germany and was almost unchanged from the concept cars that previewed it. Looking like something out of a futuristic movie, the i8 has since been recognized as a fine hybrid sports car, winning a slew of awards, and gaining fandom across the globe. If you want to own and drive one of these spaceships on wheels, consider this 2016 BMW i8 Giga World Coupe. This Georgia-based car has done 39,950 miles and awaits its next owner.

The styling of the BMW i8 is totally unlike any other vehicle from 2014. BMW wanted to showcase its futuristic performance-biased hybrid powertrain with an equally futuristic body. Whilst you could have your i8 in a bright color, this 2016 BMW i8 Giga World Coupe shuns those for a suave suit of Sophisto Gray Metallic instead. It lets its styling and gullwing doors do the talking, as well as the set of 20-inch wheels on which it rolls. It’s also got LED headlamps with cornering lights, and a $6,000 option of the BMW Laserlight system. Venture aboard and the cabin features a Giga Ivory White theme. Whilst four can be seated at a pinch, the rear seats are best for kids or your luggage. The cabin looks like something straight out of a Sci-Fi movie as well, with screens, buttons, and interesting shapes all-round. It’s got plenty of tech including dual-zone climate control, Harman/Kardon sound system, electrically adjustable seats, BMW’s iDrive infotainment system with navigation, AUX, USB and Bluetooth and full perforated leather upholstery.

What powers this spaceship, you might wonder? A BMW TwinPower turbo engine? Yes, but it’s not quite what you’d expect. This 2016 BMW i8 Giga World Coupe packs a 1.5L three-cylinder BMW TwinPower turbo engine that drives the rear wheels through an Aisin six-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the front wheels are driven by an electric motor. The total system output is an impressive 357hp and 420lb-ft, enabling a zero-to-sixty sprint in under five seconds in sport mode, and an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph. In all-electric mode, the i8 can travel for up to 15 miles on the battery, whilst topping out at 75mph.

BMW’s futuristic i8 caused quite a stir way back in 2013 when it launched. Here was a vehicle that, if you digitally removed its wheels and wheel arches, would look like a spaceship. In fact, the i8 is the result of BMW’s Vision EfficientDynamics concept car basically being put into production almost as-is. Spearheading the start of the ‘i’ sub-brand of cars from BMW, the i8 remains not just a curio, but a historically significant model in the Bavarian automaker’s long legacy. Today’s 2016 BMW i8 represents one way to enjoy a slice of that fine cake. This Utah-based machine has traveled just under 47,000 miles so far and comes with the Tera World Package.

When the BMW i8 was revealed to the world in production form, it drew gasps of amazement. The design had showed up in not one but two concepts, and a prototype was created in 2013. One year later, the production variant debuted and it was near-unchanged! That’s quite rare in the automotive world, save for a car as dramatic as this. The i8 heralded BMW’s push of ‘i’ models, with its space-age shape, butterfly doors and hybrid powertrain. Today, you can net yourself one, in the form of this Oshkosh-based 2016 BMW i8. Having done just over 57,000 miles, it’s a fine way to see how BMW envisioned the future back in the early 2010s.

BMW’s range has grown quite a bit over the past decade or so. You’ve got their electric ‘i’ range of course, then there’s the X range of SUVs, and of course the well-known number series of cars. Even here, gaps have been filled – for example the best-known 3,5 and 7 have now been joined by 1,2,4,6 and 8. Today, we have a 2026 BMW M4, which as you can possibly guess, is from the 4-Series. The 4-Series sits just above the 3-Series, as a spin-off from its coupe and convertible variants. But wait, BMW also made a 4-Series Gran Coupe, which is a four-door. Confusing much? Don’t worry because, as the name tells us, this M4 from Valparaiso, Florida, is the hottest 4-Series you can buy, and it’s a sleek two-door coupe. With a highly sought after premium exterior color and a superbly potent twin turbo six under the hood, it’s the perfect family car for an enthusiast, replete with only 1,300 miles to its name.

Forged from the desire to really make the Ultimate Driving Machine, the BMW M3 first appeared on BMW’s E30 generation of 3-Series, way back in 1986. Since then, every 3-Series, right up to the current G80 generation has had a corresponding M3. Throughout its life so far, the M3 has had four, six and eight-cylinder power. It’s enjoyed natural aspiration and forced induction. It’s been made in coupe, convertible, sedan and station wagon forms. But one thing has always remained true, its amazing enthusiast-pleasing driving manners. You see, the M3 isn’t about outright speed and power. It's never been about that. Instead, its about providing a package that’s engaging to drive and practical to live with. This G80-era 2023 BMW M3 Competition xDrive Sedan is living proof of that ethos. It’s a four-door sedan with all-wheel drive, the Executive Package, Carbon Fiber Trim Package and even a Matte Black PPF! And yet, it’s supremely amazing to drive while being able to carry your family on their regular errands. If you’re interested, this 21,380-mile car is currently available in Lima, Ohio.
