Cadillac has built a long standing reputation as America’s luxury car maker. In the past, they were known for ostentatious designs on large cars that were akin to land yachts, in size and opulence. Since those heights in the Fifties and Sixties, they have toned it down somewhat, but still produce luxury Americana, with a healthy boot of performance as well. Thus, it was natural when they released their CTS mid-sizer in 2003 that the model would have a high-performance variant, known as the CTS-V. This 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is from the third generation of the nameplate and is reportedly a garage kept example as per the seller. Mileage stands at a light 17,500.

While the second-generation CTS could be had as a stylish coupe and station wagon as well as the obligatory four-door sedan, the third generation axed those two body styles, while growing larger. This 2016 Cadillac CTS-V presents itself in a straight white paintwork that showcases its angular design and aggressive styling cues, while rolling on a equally straightforward set of silver alloys. At the rear, a discrete trunk lid spoiler and quartet of stainless steel exhausts indicate that this isn’t the base 2.0L four cylinder CTS. Step aboard into the black themed cabin with carbon fiber trim, and it’s a regular five-seat family sedan. You’ve got tri-zone climate control with rear vents, a digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system, Bose sound system, a remote and adaptive vehicle starter system, and some lovely Recaro powered front bucket seats with chrome accents and memory presets for the driver seat. Rear passengers can pull up the integrated rear window shades for added privacy and sun protection, and there are two cup holders for them in the center armrest. There’s ample safety kit on board too, including automatic park assist that can handle front, rear, parallel, and perpendicular parking, forward collision alert, lane change alert, lane departure warning, side blind zone alert, and lane keep alert.

This 2016 Cadillac CTS-V comes with a brawny 6.2L LT4 V8 under the hood, with a supercharger strapped on for good measure. This enables an output of 640hp and 630lb-ft which is tremendous for a mid-sized family sedan no matter how you look at it. Drive goes rearwards via an 8-speed GM 8L45 automatic transmission. Zero to sixty on the street has been routinely timed at 3.5 seconds, and the top speed is 200mph. There’s the Performance Traction Management system to keep things in check, and when stopping time rolls by, the Performance Braking System acts upon the four disc brakes that include front Brembo calipers.

In the Two Thousands, Cadillac was going through a time of change. They were shedding their twentieth-century persona of soft luxury, and going a little more angular, performative and, whisper it, exciting to drive. Today, we’ve got a prime example of their crack at the grand tourer segment with this silver 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe from Cortlandt Manor, New York. This super low mileage car has just under 9,000 on the odometer, a nice black interior, and a powerful 6.2-liter V8 under the hood. It’s from the second generation of the CTS and rocks a manual gearbox too. Now that’s bound to get petrolheads interested!

This 2018 Cadillac CTS-V combines supercharged V8 performance with premium luxury features, creating one of the most compelling American super sedans of its era. Powered by the 640-hp LT4 engine and paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, the CTS-V delivers exceptional acceleration and high-speed stability while remaining comfortable enough for daily use. This example is finished in Crystal White Tricoat and optioned with the V-Series Preferred Equipment Group, Luxury Package, polished 19-inch wheels, Recaro performance seats, and several interior comfort features, making it both highly equipped and performance-focused. Altogether, it offers a distinctive balance of refinement, technology, and track-ready capability.

Cadillac’s CTS model was their challenger in the midsize luxury car segment. The CTS was made across three generations between 2003 and 2019, and even dipped its toes into the two-door grand tourer market with a stylish coupe variant during its second generation. Of course, Caddy also offered a performance variant called the CTS-V. That’s what we have here today, a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe from Chicago with the Preferred Equipment Group, Underhood Appearance Package, Memory Package, and most impressively, a mere 38,091 miles to its name. Grab it quick if you want a performance machine with a difference, but an unmistakably American V8 heart.

Of The Town. That’s what de Ville means, and Caddy intended for their model to become the talk of the town. Produced across eight generations from 1959 to 2005, today’s 1966 Cadillac Coupe de Ville is a nice fifth-generation example. It’s a definite American classic in all its green on green glory, and it packs a nicely grunty 429ci V8 up front to move it along the roads and keep pace even with today’s EVs and hybrids. Having reportedly covered just 80,000 miles, this car is now up for grabs in Huntington Beach, Florida.

This 2004 Cadillac XLR is one of just 15,460 cars that showed Americans what would result if Cadillac made a modern grand tourer. Sitting on a Corvette platform and featuring a power retractable hardtop, this Black Raven example is one of just 3,665 XLRs sold in 2004. It’s got 41,675 miles on the clock, three keys and the original owner’s manual. But what’s more, this Estero, Florida-based Caddy also comes with some custom made wall art included in the sale, we’re told. If this car interests you, you’d better act quickly because as time goes by, the XLR will be recognized as a future classic, and then, everyone will want one.
