BMW’s fine 7-Series full-sized luxury car is the arch-rival to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and has been sparring with it since 1977. There are many who are either ‘a BMW person’ or ‘a Mercedes-Benz person’, and a small segment who are a bit of both! Regardless of who you are, this 2018 BMW M760Li xDrive is a fantastic way to travel around in fantastic German luxury. The M760Li xDrive is the top-level trim for the sixth generation 7-Series, and with just 30,000 miles on the clock since new, this car represents a fantastic value proposition.

The sixth generation 7-Series ran between 2015 to 2022, and saw the model feature BMW’s latest design language at the time, plus incorporate Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) into its construction. If you’re not a fan of BMW’s current design language that sees a massive twin nostril grille at the front, this 2018 BMW M760i xDrive is the last of the regular-sized grille era. Sporting an Azurit Black Metallic paintwork and rolling on a set of BMW LA 760 double-spoke wheels, it’s perfectly unobtrusive and won’t cause a scene wherever you go. The M Aerodynamics Package and M Rear Spoiler add some tasteful differentiation from lesser 7-Series models. At the rear, quad tailpipes and badging tell outsiders that this car packs some serious firepower. At the front, the BMW Adaptive LED headlamps can cut through the darkness and inclement weather with verve, ensuring every drive is as safe as possible. Open the door and enter the tasteful white interior which sports the four-seat Executive Lounge package. The soft close automatic door mechanism ensures that you don’t need to exert much force to close them, as the car does it for you. There’s sumptuous leather seating which is electrically adjustable at the front and rear, four zone climate control, a Bowers and Wilkins high end sound system that can easily rival the best, touchscreen infotainment system with BMW iDrive, rear entertainment screens, the usual powered conveniences, and a digital instrument cluster. There’s cruise control and a host of driver assistance systems as well. Gaze upwards and enjoy the view through the panorama glass roof if it’s all a bit too techy.

This 2018 BMW M760i xDrive is powered by a BMW N74 twin-turbocharged V12 engine that displaces a massive 6.6L and puts out 602hp and 590lb-ft to all four wheels with the help of an 8-speed automatic transmission and xDrive all-wheel-drive system. In fact, this is the first 7-Series to feature the xDrive system.

BMW’s 8-Series was first introduced in 1990 as a sleek and angular luxury coupe. With its eye-catching design and excellent aerodynamics, the first-generation 8-Series was also the world’s first production car to pair a V12 engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. Offered exclusively with either a V8 or a V12, the 8-Series represented the pinnacle of BMW’s grand touring capability — a blend of power, luxury, and innovation that still defines the brand’s heritage. Presented here is a 1997 BMW 840Ci from Key Largo, Florida — a low-mileage example showing fewer than 32,000 miles. Under its long hood lies the more economical yet still exciting 4.4L V8 engine, delivering smooth, effortless performance. If you’re looking for a stylish grand tourer that’s both a collector-grade classic and a comfortable daily driver, this 840Ci perfectly fits the bill.

BMW’s fine E30 3-Series has become the de facto classic for those seeking a German compact car from the Eighties. Made between 1982 and 1994, the E30 brought about a series of fine six-cylinder engines and offered four body styles. Buyers could pick from a four-door sedan, a two-door coupe, a two-door convertible or a five-door station wagon. That, plus the vehicle’s timeless styling by Klaus Luthe has made the E30 somewhat of a cult classic these days. Do you yearn to own an E30? If so, check out this 127,031-mile 1986 BMW 325es from Redmond, Oregon. With its naturally aspirated six under the hood, a 4-speed autobox and a lovely set of 14-inch Basketweave alloy wheels, the car is perfect for you. The car is also a Sport Edition trim, by the way.
