While Shelby’s hugely celebrated association with the Ford Mustang is known to everyone, what happens when the famed tuning company turns its attention to something a bit different? Predictably, it was a roaring success, not least because Shelby American focused on doing what it does best—making iconic Fords just that much more special. With the Ford F-150, Shelby went the extra mile with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that produces a mind-bending 770 hp. If that’s not impressive enough, wait until you delve into the performance specifics of this incredible machine.

If the standard Ford F150 wasn’t imposing enough, the 2020 Ford F150 Shelby Super Snake takes things to the next level. One of the most apparent visual additions is the dual-intake “Ram Air” Shelby Super Snake hood. Engine cooling is also assisted by front fenders for engine cooling. There’s no doubt what this beast is, with this F150 decked out in Shelby rocker panel graphics and full-body rally stripes. Shelby lettering is also found on the hood, tailgate, and truck bed, as well as a “Supercharged” logo on the hood air intakes. You’ll also find painted fender flares, vents, and a custom front bumper, plus a customer-molded skid plate along with a honeycomb racing grille with the Shelby Snake insert. At the back, there’s painted custom rear bumper cladding painted tonneau cover with a Shelby bed rug liner. The added height is thanks to a Shelby-exclusive BDS suspension lift and a Fox Shock System. To enhance the stance, a set of 20-inch Shelby-engraved alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires adds to the package. The interior is accessed via power-deploying steps with rock guards and step lights. The cabin itself features seats that have been recovered in Shelby two-tone leather with the snake emblem. The interior also gets the full carbon fiber package, with a Shelby snake-badged console lid and Shelby stainless steel gauges. Finishing the interior up are the truck’s Shebly floor mats and tinted windows.

Under the hood of the 2020 Ford F150 Shelby Super Snake lies a 5.0-liter V8 engine featuring a supercharger. The car’s blower & intake manifold are powder coated in Ford Racing Blue, plus there’s a performance air intake with a high-flow filter mated to an oversized carbon fiber air intake tube. A performance aluminum heat exchanger helps keep engine temps down, while Shelby also includes an upgraded billet throttle body and upgraded high-performance fuel injectors. The engine expels gasses through a Shebly-tuned Borla performance exhaust coupled with black ceramic dual exhaust tips. Finally, there’s a Shelby Registry engine plaque to guarantee the vehicle’s authenticity.

Ford gives its Mustang pony car plenty of gallop straight from the factory. But what if you want a raging racehorse instead? Well, that’s where you’d need to venture into the realm of Shelby. Shelby Mustangs are worshipped and revered as some of the most potent around, ever since Carroll Shelby looked at the first-generation Mustang and decided to work his magic on it. Now, Shelby Mustangs roll out of the Ford factory itself, in tribute to the great man who sadly left us some years back. Today, we have a 2020 Ford Mustang GT350 for sale from Gilbert, Arizona with just 5,900 miles to its name. What’s even nicer is that it’s been tuned by Lund Racing and features a supercharger installed on to its 5.2-liter V8. One of the best ways to experience a classic car is to cruise down in town with a drop-top first-generation Ford Mustang. You’ll be guaranteed to receive smiles, waves and general gestures of appreciation because who doesn’t love a Mustang? Introduced in 1964, the Mustang created a class of car called the pony car, and also facilitated an entire culture of happy, carefree cruising. Drop-top examples like this 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible are most facilitative of this culture, and will definitely invoke fond memories from many of those who were around at the time. Heck, even the new generation will love the car’s simplicity and characterful nature. This particular pony is up for sale in Westlake, Louisiana with 7,337 miles on the clock, we’re told. It’s also been fitted with aftermarket air conditioning, a retro stereo, a new convertible top and new whitewall tires too!

Land Rover introduced the Series I off-roader was introduced in 1948, as Rover knew that, like Jeep over in the USA, with World War II finished, they needed to switch priorities and serve the civilian market. The Land Rover Series I holds the designation of being the world’s first mass-produced four-wheel drive vehicle with doors and solid roof. Over time, the Series I became the Series II then Series III, before gaining the Defender name in late 1990, in keeping with Land Rover’s new naming convention. The Defender came in 90,110 and 130 forms, which roughly referred to its wheelbase. Here, we have a 1997 Land Rover Defender 110 County Edition which is a five-door station wagon variant. You can see by its right-hand drive layout that it’s likely a UK import. With only over 16,000 miles to its name, the vehicle currently resides in Houston, Texas, but is basically at home anywhere in the country – especially where there are no tarmac roads. After all, it’s meant to go off-roading and overlanding!

The Jeep Wrangler is one of just two vehicles available today that allow you to remove the doors and roof for the ultimate open-air experience. You can imagine the engineering that goes into enabling such a feat, and most manufacturers simply don’t bother. But Jeep can’t do that, and you know why? Because since the mid-1940s, they’ve been outfitting enterprising Americans with tough, go-anywhere, do-anything off-roaders. The Wrangler, in fact, can directly trace its lineage to the Jeep CJ series. Today’s 2019 Jeep Wrangler comes from the current JL series and packs a punchy Pentastar V6 under its rather sizable hood.
