Overview of 2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT C Roadster For Sale by Owner

Introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 2014, the AMG GT is was the second ever sports car to be developed in-house by Mercedes-AMG after the legendary SLS AMG. The car certainly had a big reputation to uphold, and it did, being considered now as one of the most exciting examples of German automotive craftsmanship that you could ever have on a track. Available as either a coupe or roadster, the AMG GT saw a number of variants released over the years, one of them being the performance-oriented GT C version as featured here. On the topic of this example, it's currently up for sale in Michigan, and it has just 4,800 miles on it.

Exterior and Interior

Although retaining the same mechanical capabilities as the GT S, the AMG GT got a few cosmetic upgrades unique to its own. The most obvious change was the wider, now 79-inch body, giving the GT C a more aggressive stance. This example wears a beautiful paint coat that Mercedes likes to call Designo Selenite Grey Magno, it also has the AMG Matte carbon fiber trim that includes a carbon fiber front splitter. The car also comes with a red soft-top and sits on 9"/20" Amg split 10 spoke forged wheels in black. Occupants of this 2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT C Roadster are greeted with a Silver Pearl and black interior complete with exclusive Nappa leather, diamond stitching, and shades of Alcantara for a sporty finish. You will also see bits of carbon fiber on the dash panel and center console, along with silver seatbelts to add more character to the interior. As for technology, lane tracking, and the AMG Dynamic Plus package was standard for this trim, but this one is also reported to have] Active Distance Assist Distronic. You will also be spoiled with a Burmester high-end surround sound system.

Engine

Although retaining the same twin-turbocharged M178 as the standard AMG GT, the GT C variant as featured here had its 4.2L V8 tuned in order to produce 550hp and 502lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels with the help of its 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. 0 to 60? Just 3.9 seconds. Top speed? Irrelevant for everyday roads unless you want to lose your license, nearly 200mph!
