Twenty-five years ago, ROUSH Performance made it their goal to bring power-packed Mustangs to the world, as if they hadn't come already with high-performance figures. They challenged street performance with tunes and packages that were bred on racetracks. We at Exotic Car Trader are proud to present you with this special 2021 Ford Mustang Roush Stage 3. Why is it special, you may ask? It bears the serial number 001, marking the very first car that rolled out of Roush's garage in 2021. With just 7,800 miles on it and an abundance of power at your disposal, it is a perfect example of style meets functionality.
Exterior and Interior
This example is a 2021 model year Ford Mustang that has modern styling, with sleek headlights and LED taillights. However, it retains those classic body lines with the fastback roofline, long bonnet, and wide arches. Finished in a beautiful Velocity Blue paint job, this 2021 Ford Mustang Roush Stage 3 announces its track-ready attitude. The Stage 3 Roush package includes Stage 3 graphics in satin black, including ROUSH badging and an R9 aero body kit, giving the car an even sportier outlook. The GT Performance package provides upgraded Brembo brakes, which hide behind a set of Roush 20-inch flow form wheels wrapped in high-performance continental extreme contact tires. The same treatment is given to the interior with Roush stage 3 upgrades ROUSH embossed Ebony Recaro leather bucket seats, red billet aluminum shifter pedals, Boost Guage, Embroidered floor mats, Stage 3 serialized dash, gauge cluster overlay, and illuminated door sill scuff plates. The Bang and Olufsen sound system provides world-class audio in addition to the soul-stirring engine note.
Engine
Powering the 6th generation Mustang is the 5.0L Coyote V8, putting out a respectable 460 horsepower. This has been upped to a tire shredding 750 horses by strapping on a phase 2 Roush supercharger along with their tuning. Additional cooling is also provided with the powertrain cooling package to support the added power. This example is optioned with the 10-speed automatic gearbox, providing lightning-fast shifts and improving the quarter mile time drastically over the stick shift. Along with the Brembo brakes, the GT performance pack includes a Torsen limited slip differential and MagneRide sport suspension, which has been further tuned by Roush, which come together to help maneuver this beast of a muscle car.
This 1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 has been comprehensively modified into a serious street-oriented Fox Body build. Showing approximately 62,666 miles, it is finished in Vibrant Red over a Black interior and centers around a Vortech-supercharged 5.0-liter V8 paired with an AOD 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine setup includes an Anderson B31 camshaft, Holley Systemax intake, 80mm mass air meter, Anderson 3-inch power pipe, Accufab 75mm throttle body, upgraded injectors and fuel system, while the drivetrain benefits from a 2,400 RPM stall converter, street/strip valve body, TransGo shift kit, and Ford Performance 3.73 gears. Bilstein shocks, Steeda lowering springs, Team Z steering hardware, Black Widow exhaust, multiple wheel sets, and a modernized audio system round out a build that goes well beyond the typical bolt-on Fox Body.
The 2009 Ford Mustang Bullitt takes the familiar S197 Mustang GT formula and gives it a distinctly understated performance character. This example shows 60,045 miles and is finished in the signature Highland Green Clearcoat over a Dark Charcoal leather interior. Its factory Bullitt Package brings together a 3.73 limited-slip rear axle, 18-inch Bullitt wheels, Bullitt-specific interior appointments, packed exhaust tips, and the desirable spoiler-delete exterior treatment. Add in HID headlamps, the Shaker 1000 audio system, and a 5-speed manual transmission, and this Mustang offers an appealing combination of classic muscle-car styling and enthusiast-focused equipment.
This 1967 Ford Mustang Hardtop combines classic first-generation Mustang styling with a desirable 289ci V8 and 4-speed manual transmission. The odometer shows 7,768 miles, though the total mileage is unknown. Finished in Red with White racing stripes over a Red and White interior, this example has the right visual attitude for a vintage Mustang, while features such as front bucket seats, a wood-rim 3-spoke steering wheel, air conditioning, power steering, and an aftermarket Alpine audio head unit make it easier to enjoy on the road. This 1931 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan is a charming example of one of the most important cars in American automotive history, presented here with just 4,258 miles showing. Finished in Blue with a Brown interior, this Tudor keeps the unmistakable proportions and mechanical simplicity that defined the Model A era. Yellow wire-spoke wheels, whitewall tires, a rear-mounted spare, and a luggage trunk give it a period-correct touring look, while a FRAM PH3500 spin-on oil filter conversion adds a subtle practical update. This 1932 Ford Model 18 5-Window Coupe Hot Rod takes one of the most recognizable early Ford body styles and gives it the classic hot rod treatment. Showing 25,148 miles, it pairs a black exterior with a vivid red interior and a 327ci V8 backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. The build mixes traditional hot rod cues with modern usability, including polished billet wheels, a reupholstered cabin, aftermarket instrumentation, air conditioning, and a power trunk. It has the right old-school proportions and character, but with enough comfort and convenience to make it more than just a garage centerpiece.
This 1933 Ford Model B SpeedStar Hot Rod is a full custom build that takes classic prewar hot rod proportions and wraps them around a much more modern performance package. Showing just 3,645 miles, it features an Alloway-built Rat’s Glass fiberglass body, a 383ci stroker V8, an automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive. Finished in silver with a custom paint job over a reupholstered gray leather interior, this SpeedStar mixes show-car presentation with real hot rod substance. Add in 4-wheel disc brakes, aftermarket suspension, custom wheels, power-operated features, and an upgraded audio system, and you have a build that is as much about craftsmanship as it is about attitude.
