It is without a doubt that Porsche’s most iconic vehicle is their two-door, high performance coupe and convertible, known globally as the 911. When Porsche began producing the 911 in 1964, their immediate goal was to create a slightly more contemporary replacement for the 356, but the 911 was immensely popular and quickly became Porsche’s most celebrated vehicle.
