The coupe was more expensive than the convertible as a result of this distinctive look. Sadly, Chevy changed it to a more conventional single-piece rear window for the 1964 model year. The decision was driven by the fact that rearward visibility could be slightly affected by the strip of metal running down the rear window. As a result, this iconic design was only seen for one production year, in which just 10,500 coupes were sold. Today, you’ve got a chance to get your hand on one of these icons.
