Background Story of this 1967 Chevrolet C10

Overview of 1967 Chevrolet C10 For Sale by Owner

Chevrolet’s legendary series of C/K trucks provided yeoman service to many from 1960 to 2002, before the Silverado and Kodiak nameplates took over the task. Over time, these workmanlike trucks have gained a cult following in the classic, as well as restomod community, as they are a great platform to build upon. This 1967 Chevrolet C10 Restomod is one such example of a second-generation C/K series that’s seen such treatment, and bears just 200 miles since its comprehensive makeover. If you’ve found your next ride in it, give us a call but be quick, as these kinds of vehicle don’t stick around for long.

Exterior and Interior

Painted in a custom dark blue paintwork with lighter blue ghost flame stripes, it’s clear that this 1967 Chevrolet C10 Restomod isn’t just another truck. The seller reports that there are hand-painted side stripes with the model designation present as well, a dainty detail that you need to look properly in order to discover. A black vinyl bed cover keeps your things safe as you drive around, and the dual exhaust at the rear lets everyone hear the V8’s throaty song. The five-spoke polished Unique-branded alloy wheels add a further touch of glitz to the truck’s side profile, while the massive, chromed grille at the front does the job too. A peek at the undercarriage reveals that things are in great shape there as well, signifying that no expense was spared on this custom truck. A reupholstered blue interior greets occupants as they rest upon the bench seat, and gaze at the wood-trimmed dash. The driver grips a wood-grained steering wheel and faces a full complement of new gauges that communicate everything you’d want to know on a classic vehicle. The ventilation system appears to be installed as well, and the radio looks like a retro-modern unit. Yes, it’s possible to have some modern comforts and conveniences without changing the essence of the vehicle.

Engine

Beneath the hood of this 1967 Chevrolet C10 Restomod lies a newly built 383 Stroker V8 that should put out over 300hp to the rear wheels via an automatic transmission. The rotating assembly in the motor has been upgraded with added compression. Braking appears to be via discs at the front and drums at the rear, ensuring that this truck stops as well as it goes.

In 1967, Chevy released the second generation of its C/K Series pickup truck range. While its ladder-frame chassis remained largely the same as the first generation (because why change something that works very well), the body saw a ground-up redesign. Offered as a two-door pickup truck or chassis cab, buyers could pick from various six and eight cylinder engines to do the grunt work. Here, we have a 1967 Chevrolet C10 Stepside example for sale from Haymarket, Virginia. This truck has undergone plenty of work to bring it to the condition that you see here. Its got a 350 under the hood, paired with a 3-speed automatic gearbox, and rides on some swish aftermarket polished chrome wheels. If you’ve been searching for a classic truck with some mods, this is your ideal candidate.

Chevy’s C/K Series of pickup trucks is the direct ancestor of today’s Silverado, as well as the sister model called the GMC Sierra. In fact, Silverado used to denote a trim level in many of the later-generation C/K trucks. Now, these classic trucks are great for preserving, cherishing, and restomodding. That’s what’s become of this 1984 Chevrolet C10 Restomod from Greensboro, North Carolina. With its naturally aspirated LS V8 burbling away, this truck is a joy to drive thanks to its automatic gearbox and re-upholstered interior, plus several other nice things. It may have 111,112 miles on it, but it’s been very well looked after and is now up for grabs.

1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS

PENDING SALE

Chevy’s answer to Ford’s pony car challenge, the Camaro came in 1967 and brought a sister along for the ride, in the shape of the Pontiac Firebird. This was a smart move by General Motors as it allowed them to sell two suitably varied models in the same segment but with much of the same underpinnings, engines and other components. The Firebird was axed in 2002 but the Camaro continued to be made until 2024. That makes it the second longest-running pony car in history. Today, we’ve got a nice first-generation 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS for sale in St. Cloud, Florida. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 is a show-stopping example of American muscle restored to concours-level detail. Verified by its X66 code and built at the Norwood, Ohio plant, this real-deal Super Sport coupe combines factory originality with subtle performance enhancements that elevate both its drivability and collectability. With its matching-numbers big-block, correct Turbo 400 transmission, and period-authentic Holley 4346 carburetor, this Camaro is the perfect blend of raw 1960s muscle and expert craftsmanship.

The first new Chevy truck to come out since World War II ended, the Advance Design era ran between 1947 and 1955. It replaced the older AK series and was bigger, stronger and sleeker in design. The range started with the 3100 half-tonner, and went on through the one-ton 3800, and into chassis cabs and medium-duty trucks. Now, the Advance Design has found some fame as a restomod platform. That’s what we have here, a 1952 Chevrolet 3100 Restomod from Smithville, Texas. This truck has undergone a full makeover, including a new 396ci V8, a 4-speed automatic gearbox, air conditioning and much more. 1967 Chevrolet Corvette

PENDING SALE
$89,999

Chevy’s second-generation Corvette was made from 1963 to 1967, but across that relatively short lifcycle, over 117,000 examples found homes. This highlights how popular the Corvette was back then, much like it is now. The second generation or C2 brought about many features that we know from later ‘Vettes, such as pop-up headlamps, the boat-tailed styling, and the exclusive use of V8s for the Corvette – the C1 did offer a six cylinder early in its lifecycle but that wasn’t deemed worthy for a top-tier sports car. Today, we’ve got a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe for sale from Shohola, Pennsylvania, and let us tell you it’s a catch. With a growling 327 under the hood, this is classic American car nirvana at its finest. Plus, given the great condition of the car, it’s a sure-fire appreciating asset if you continue to look after it. If you’re interested in getting your hands on this beauty, we’re waiting for your call or DM.

1958 Jeep CJ-5

PENDING SALE
$26,999

Are you the sort of person who prefers a classic off-roader rather than a car? Do you want your classic off-roader to have real off-roading chops, a fine legacy of dependability and come from a well-known American brand? If so, this 1958 Jeep CJ-5 is perfect. Hailing from the illustrious Jeep CJ – that’s Civilian Jeep – legacy, the CJ was created shortly after World War II ended. Willys-Overland, the ones behind the popular Military Jeep knew that without war, their main customer wouldn’t be buying nearly as many vehicles from them. So, they switched gears and made the Jeep CJ, a tough, no-nonsense off-roader aimed at farmers and tradespersons who needed a simple vehicle with guts and four-wheel drive. This vehicle comes from the CJ-5 era which ran between 1954 and 1983. With its naturally aspirated V6, manual gearbox and aftermarket exhaust system, this 1958 Jeep CJ-5 has only done 167 miles since its thorough makeover.

Jeep’s CJ series of off-roaders is what gave rise to the Wrangler today. You can see the design similarities between the old and the new, despite the Wrangler’s notably larger size, plusher cabin, more powerful engine, etc. That iconic face remains largely intact, with the famous seven-bar grille signifying that the vehicle wearing it is capable of great off-road feats. The CJ series came about in 1944, when Willys-Overland knew that they had to switch to the civilian market to survive. World War II was ending, and the military wouldn’t be needing Jeeps like cigarettes anymore. So, the CJ was born, standing for Civilian Jeep. It was made to live a tough life in the fields of agriculture, construction, mining, manufacturing and other rough-and-tumble industries. Jeep knew that the civilian variant would have a lifespan in years or even decades, not months or weeks like its battleship brethren. Hence, the CJ is exceptionally well-built, and many survive to this day. This 1978 Jeep CJ-5 from Melbourne, Florida is proof of that quality.
