This 1972 Chevrolet Nova is tough to beat, with aggressive performance and an interior that not only looks great but is also very comfortable. 1972 was the last year of the pre-facelift third-generation Nova, keeping the regular performance and aggressive style before the federal safety and emissions standards of 1973 came into effect. This makes the Nova easy to upgrade, tune, and squeeze as much power out of as possible. This particular example is a result of a daring speed freak. The third-generation Chevrolet Nova was based on a longer 111-inch chassis giving it more presence compared to its predecessor. A Whipple supercharger and LS6 Mutha Thumper camshaft ups the horsepower to a whopping 750 horsepower. All this power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 6-speed Tremec manual transmission. All these power train modifications make for a mind-numbingly fast machine that stands out in any crowd.
